Office Depot Rewards® MaxPerks® Integration Questions

I'm already an Office Depot Rewards or MaxPerks member. Do I need to re-enroll?

MaxPerks members who have made a purchase in the last 2 years do not need to re-enroll. Visit officedepot.com/maxperks to finish your transition by verifying your information and setting up your online account to access your reward certificates.

Office Depot Rewards members do not need to re-enroll, but should ensure your online account is set up at officedepot.com/rewards to be able to access your reward certificates.

How do I transition my MaxPerks membership?

Visit officedepot.com/maxperks. Enter your MaxPerks ID number or the email address associated with your MaxPerks account. Follow the steps on screen.

Can I still use my Office Depot Rewards® or MaxPerks member number to earn rewards in the Office Depot® OfficeMax® Rewards program?

Yes, all Office Depot Rewards members can continue to use their current member number. MaxPerks members who made a purchase in the last 2 years can continue to use their current member number.

What happens if I was a member in both Office Depot Rewards and MaxPerks programs?

You need to call 866-562-3872 to ensure your memberships are merged and your rewards are accounted for under one membership. Be sure to call when you have access to your email.

How is the Office Depot® OfficeMax® Rewards program different from the old programs?

For Office Depot Rewards members nothing has changed. MaxPerks members will now earn the same 10% back in rewards on paper, ink, toner, copy, print and shipping services that Office Depot Rewards members have always enjoyed.

How do I join Office Depot® OfficeMax® Rewards?

Join online at officedepot.com/rewards, in any Office Depot store, or by phone at 866-562-3872 – membership is FREE! If you enroll in store or over the phone, you must create an online account at officedepot.com/rewards to access your reward certificates.

What if I forget to use my member number when shopping?

You don’t need your member card to shop! Simply provide the phone number or email address on your account at checkout. If you forget, log in to your account at officedepot.com/rewards and click "Add a Purchase" to receive credit for your purchase. Only purchases made within the current calendar quarter can be added to your account.

What If I lose my membership card?

You can print a replacement card immediately by logging in to your account at officedepot.com/rewards and clicking "Print Membership Card”. A new window will open with a PDF of your card. Print the PDF and bring it to your nearest Office Depot or OfficeMax store to have it laminated for FREE!

Why should I fill out my member profile?

A complete member profile allows us to send you promotions and offers tailored to your specific needs. Plus, you will earn points when you complete your member profile. Simply log in to your account at officedepot.com/rewards and click on "Earn 200 free points."

How do I become a Choice Member?

You must spend $200 on qualifying purchases within a quarter to enjoy Choice Member benefits the following quarter. Qualifying purchases include any product or service purchase made in store, online, by phone or fax excluding: taxes; delivery fees; purchases of third party gift and prepaid cards, postage stamps; and purchases made with Office Depot® OfficeMax® Rewards and Merchandise Cards/Certificates.

What are the benefits of being a Choice Member?

Choice Members get 5% back in rewards on the 5 product categories of their choice.

How do I select my 5 Choice Member product categories?

Log in to your account at officedepot.com/rewards and click on the "Select Categories" link in the Choice Member section to select your categories. You can update your product category selection at any time. Once you begin earning Choice Member rewards, any changes you make will take effect in the quarter after you re-qualify for Choice Member status.

How do I track my Choice Member status?

In order to track your progress in becoming a Choice Member, log in to your account at officedepot.com/rewards to view your qualifying spend-to-date in the Choice Member section.

How do I maintain my Choice Member status?

Choice Member benefits are valid for one quarter. To maintain Choice Member status you must continue to spend $200 on qualifying purchases each quarter to be eligible for Choice Member benefits the following quarter.

Rewards

When are rewards issued?

Rewards certificates are available on your online account within 30 days after the end of the month for members who have earned at least 1,000 points. Simply log in to or create your account at officedepot.com/rewards and click on “View My Rewards Certificates” to view and print your unexpired reward certificates.

Reward certificates can be redeemed at any Office Depot or OfficeMax store, online at officedepot.com, or by phone at 1.800.463.3768. For online purchases, your unexpired certificates are available at checkout to apply to your order.

How are rewards issued?

Rewards certificates are available on your online account for every 1,000 points earned. Members with a current email address on their account will be notified when their rewards certificate is available. You can also simply log in to or create your account at officedepot.com/rewards and click on “View My Rewards Certificates” to view and print your unexpired reward certificates.

Reward certificates can be redeemed at any Office Depot or OfficeMax store, online at officedepot.com, or by phone at 1.800.463.3768. For online purchases, your unexpired certificates are available at checkout to apply to your order.

Do rewards carry over from month to month?

Rewards are issued as points. Point balances less than 1,000 carry over from month to month through the end of the calendar quarter. Balances of less than 1,000 points expire at the end of each quarter. For example, if at the end of the quarter you have 2,800 points, you will receive a $20 rewards certificate for your 2,000 points and the remaining 800 points will expire.

How can I track my rewards?

Log in to  or create your account at officedepot.com/rewards to view your current points balance. For more detail, click on "Rewards Summary." Note: Rewards for certain promotions may take up to 5 weeks to post to your account. To view your rewards certificates, click on “View My Rewards Certificates.”

How can I check the balance on my rewards certificate?

Remaining balances will display on the bottom of your store receipt. You can also log in to your account at officedepot.com/rewards and click on the "View My Rewards Certificates" link. All unexpired certificates with a full or partial balance will show on that page.

Do rewards certificates expire?

Yes, rewards certificates expire 60 days from the date of issuance. The expiration date is printed on your rewards certificate.

Are there any exclusions when redeeming my rewards certificate?

Rewards certificates cannot be used on purchases of any gift or prepaid cards.

What if I do not have a printer to print my certificate?

No problem! Visit Copy and Print Depot™ in one of our stores to access your account and print your rewards certificate.

Is there a limit to the rewards I can earn?

There is no limit to the rewards you can earn.

What if I lose my rewards certificate?

We cannot replace lost, stolen or expired rewards certificates. Lost certificates that have not been used may be reprinted by logging in to your account at officedepot.com/rewards and clicking on the "View My Rewards Certificates" link. Please safeguard your rewards certificates and treat them like cash. Certificates that have been used cannot be replaced.

Can I use my rewards certificates with coupons?

Yes. We accept valid coupons when you make a purchase with your rewards certificates. Purchases made with Office Depot® OfficeMax® Rewards and Merchandise Cards/Certificates do not qualify for rewards.

Ink and Toner Recycling

What do I get back for each cartridge recycled?

You get 200 points for each ink or toner cartridge that you recycle, up to 10 cartridges per month, when you make a $10 qualifying purchase the same month. You can recycle additional cartridges, but rewards will only be issued on 10.

How can I view my recycling rewards?

Log in to your account at officedepot.com/rewards and click on the "Rewards Summary" link on the Account Overview page. Recycling rewards will post to your account within 5 days after the end of the month. Be sure to keep your recycling receipts for your records.

What is a qualifying purchase for ink and toner recycling?

Qualifying purchases include any product or service purchase made in store, online, by phone or fax excluding: taxes; delivery fees; postage stamps; gift and prepaid cards; and purchases made with Office Depot® OfficeMax® Rewards and Merchandise Cards/Certificates.

What ink and toner cartridges qualify for rewards?

All brands of ink and toner qualify for rewards.

When will I receive my recycling rewards?

Rewards are issued as points. Recycling rewards are included in your Office Depot® OfficeMax® Rewards Certificate when you earn at least 1,000 points. For every 1,000 points earned you will receive a $10 rewards certificate, which will be available on your online account within 30 days after the end of the month.

How do I change my account information?

Log in to your account and click on the "Edit Contact Information" link in the “Your User Settings” section on the My Account page. To save your revised information, be sure to click "Update."

What if I forget my login name?

You can also log in with your member. When logging in at officedepot.com/rewards, click ‘Log In.’ Then click the "Forgot your member number?" link located in the Account Login screen. You can also log in with your member number. Once logged in click on the "Login Name, Password & Security Question" link in the “Your User Settings” section on the My Account page to find your username.

How do I create my online account?

Visit officedepot.com/rewards and click “Log In.” Enter your member number. Then, just answer the questions when prompted.

What if I forget my password?

When prompted to enter your password, you can click on the "Forgot your password?" link next to that field.
