I looked long and hard for a hutch desk and when I saw this one I went tothe store to look at it and was impressed by how solid it is. I love all the space it has and the doors are really the selling point. I will say that the time to put it together is a little bit time consuming , and the attachment to the desk only being on two points bothers me. Again as I stated in the review for the desk I am disappointed that the insturctions are only in picture form it made it difficult to sometimes make out which was was up and down on the parts.

I purchased this hutch to place on the corner desk unit. Saw them in Office Depot. Love the frosted glass. I assembled it myself. The only time you need another person is when you lift it on the desk. The backing is a little flimsy and disappointing, but there is a wood rail that protects it where it meets the desk. I purchased the hutch, desk, lateral file with hutch and the bookcase together and had them delivered. The hutch was the first I assembled. OMG. No directions, just diagrams. Took me awhile to figure out. The hardware is sectioned off by step number which helps greatly and you are given spares. Figuring out the hinges is the worst. They were uneven and crooked. Then I noticed the little screw that didn't screw into anything and looked like it was separating the hinge. I tweaked it a few times and the cupboards hang perfectly. Love it.

I wasn't sure how this product was going to fit on my desk but after assembling it all made sense. Love it!!

These pieces (we bought both the desk and hutch) are beautiful and feel very sturdy and durable. The assembly instructions were all by diagram - no text - but was easy enough to follow. Assembly was illustrated step by step, with the needed screws, dowels, etc. bagged per step, so that you didn't need to sort it all out beforehand, or wonder if this belonged to step 1 or step 5?
The desk is solid and large. The only thing I would change is to have additional drawers instead of a file drawer (I have a separate filing cabinet), but I'm sure I'll make use of the file drawer.
I love the hutch, with 2 separate enclosed cabinets. I can put all the user manuals (for the printer, computer, etc) in one, the other for my everyday reference books. There is a lot of shelving area for additional sorters and organization. I'm sure I'll have it all filled in no time - and get rid of the stacks that used to be on my old desk!
I had spent some time on the internet looking for furniture that would fit my needs without breaking the bank, and this fit the bill exactly. And when it went on sale the next week and Office Depot was kind enough to refund the price difference, that was the icing on the cake!
