• Patented technology — optimized for small offices. A robust speaker with a maximum peak volume of 85 decibels — significantly louder than an average speaker phone — combines with Polycom's exclusive Acoustic Clarity Technology™ to provide sound quality designed for up to 4 people seated around a small table. The system self-adjusts to compensate for the acoustics of a small room, to minimize reverberation and distortion and to optimize audio quality.
• 360° coverage lets everyone be heard! The VoiceStation 300's 3 high-quality microphones deliver 360° coverage, so all participants can be heard…and you never have to raise your voice or repeat yourself. With 360° coverage, you can continue the conversation while moving about the room.
• Full-duplex technology — so conversations flow freely. With full-duplex performance, audio is transmitted continuously in both directions, so those on the other end will hear you even if they are speaking. This capability allows groups of people to converse by phone as naturally as if they were speaking face-to-face, with no echo and without clipping off each other's voice. Can eliminate costly mistakes caused by miscommunication.
• Mute and redial buttons add convenience. The mute button on the built-in iconic-and-alphanumeric keypad lets you deactivate the microphones while you continue to listen to the speaker so you can make comments in private without interrupting the meeting. The redial button automatically recalls and redials the last phone number called. Also has flash, hold and volume control buttons.
• Easy installation — takes less than 60 seconds. Simply plug the VoiceStation 300 into a standard analog telephone jack and an AC outlet, and you're up and running.
• RCA output jack to record your meeting. Lets you capture the entire discussion on audiotape, stream a meeting over the Internet or archive it to a disk.
• Supports Caller ID† to remove the guesswork. VoiceStation will allow you to use both Caller ID and Call Waiting if your phone company provides those services for conferencing units. The console will show the name and number of a caller if that caller has programmed them into his conferencing unit.
