Maybe too soon to judge I've only had the copier about a week and it made beauiful copies in the beginning until today when I start making copies of my dental records. Now the copies are coming out smudged. Ran a couple more and still smudges. Seem to work well if coping plain white paper. January 29, 2013
Canon PC170 Personal Copier This Canon PC 170 is the equivalent to the one we replaced, which had served us for 15 years for home and crafting purposes. It seems a bit slower and noisier than the old one. Overall it does its job and uses less toner than the color printers we have that are attached to the computers. We like the clear copies, the ability to control the lightness or darkness of copies and the feature of no waiting until ready for first copy. Great price is also a plus. March 15, 2012
Great Personal Copier Bought this to use on my job as a field supervisor. Need to make copies of documents on the run. It can't be beat for convenience. Copy quality is as good as any office copier. The paper trays are very vunerable to breakage. I bumped one and it broke without much force, so I learned to be a bit more careful. Aside from the fragile paper trays, it is a great value. October 31, 2011
Its OK We bought this to do our application process but it statred acting up 4 months after we bought it...we replaced the cartridge and that didn't work...we called canon and they shipped out a new one. Its a ok machine but only for small business. July 22, 2009
