The RG series by Olympia is a high-performance rugged flashlight designed for any situation. It uses innovative CREE LED technology to ensure high-brightness for any illumination need. Each light is crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum with Type III hard-anodized anti-abrasive finish. The textured body offers an anti-freeze non-slip grip making it just as easy to use with gloves as without. Every model has five light settings including strobe and SOS for emergency situations. Olympia stands for quality and integrity so all the flashlights are ANSI FL-1 tested. The RG line is waterproof to IPX-8 and impact resistant to 1.5 meters. Olympia Flashlight Facts

  • The Olympia brand is synonymous with integrity, quality and performance since 1923.   We are committed to providing products that are rugged, reliable and built to last.  All Olympia flashlights carry a two-year parts and labor warranty.

  • The Olympia RG580 high performance flashlight is rated at 580 lumens in high mode, and is tested according to American National Standards guidelines, or ANSI FL1.   A lumen is a measure of visible light, and is one of the most important features in which to compare flashlights.  Be sure to purchase a flashlight that adheres to ANSI FL1 standards.

  • Olympia RG and AD series flashlights are waterproof and carry the highest rating of IPX-8.    This means that your Olympia flashlight will continue to perform even if submerged in up to 6 feet of water for long periods of time.
  • Olympia flashlights utilize Cree(R) LED lighting components.   Cree is the leading worldwide manufacturer of LED’s and has set the standard for high quality flashlights.   Your Olympia flashlight utilizing Cree technology is built for many years of outstanding use.

  • The Olympia RG580 high performance flashlight is able to produce a light beam from a distance of 235 meters, or 771 ft.   This light output is rated under very specific ANSI FL1 lab conditions, and helps you compare the effective range of flashlights.
  • The casing design of your Olympia flashlight is refined through an electrochemical process called anodization, which converts the aircraft grade aluminum surface into a decorative and corrosion resistant finish.   The higher the type of anodization, the more durable the flashlight surface.

  • Olympia flashlights are ANSI FL1 tested for impact resistance by being dropped onto a concrete surface with the batteries installed.   Dropped samples must not exhibit any cracks or breaks, and must remain fully functional to pass the Impact Resistance test.  This is an important attribute as flashlights are regularly bumped and dropped during everyday use.
