Great Tabs I'm not sure why so many people are complaining about these tabs. Yes, there is no template on this website. Are these inserts comparable to either of the Avery BIG TAB Divider 5-Tab templates already available in word? Yes, they are. Alignment for each cell (ie top middle bottom) should be centered/middle. I figured this out in about 3 minutes. The paper is a bit thin, but they look nice, and printed out just fine. July 21, 2014
I CAN'T BELIEVE OM DOESN'T SUPPLY TEMPLATES First, OM should put at least two pages of tabs in their packages, especially if they aren?t going to supply a template for printing the tabs. After wasting hours trying to print on these tabs and they still not line up correctly, I started looking at the other bad reviews for this product. One person said he made a template in Excel. Unfortunately it was for the smaller tabs, but here is what works for me in Excel. Two columns, each with a width of 2 in. (or 24.89 pts). 18 rows with a height of .5 in. (or 36 pts). Center the info within the cell vertically and horizontally. Page set-up: Page: Portrait; Margins: Top=0.85, Left=2.25, everything else = 0. Now I have a template. January 15, 2014
Let down! The quality on this item has dramatically deteriorated. I order about 50 of these clear tab divider packs at one time. I had a few left over from my last order and when I opened the ones from my new order up, I can tell that OfficeMax went way cheaper with their materials. The paper used now is just a tad bit thicker than regular copy paper and the plastic tabs are even more flimsy. When putting in the insert I feel like i am going to rip the divider now and that will not hold up. Time to switch back to name brand. October 28, 2013
Created a Template in Excel Who buys tabs without a template? Evidently I did. I used Excel. Two columns, each with a width of 18.3. 20 rows with a height of 34. Center the info within the cell vertically and horizonally. Page set-up: Page: Portrait; Margins: Top=0.85, Left=2.79, everything else = 0. Now I have a template. July 16, 2013
