Zippy Little Device! I got this for college and it meets all of my needs! I can use visual basic and my web design programs without any trouble because it's running full windows 8.1 and not windows RT. There are a lot of updates that need to be done and I did need to exchange mine because of a faulty network card but I've had no trouble since the exchange. The touch screen is very responsive and the device overall is quite fast. I have gotten used to typing on this device rather quickly and am able to write paper and create powerpoints/excel spreadsheets with ease. I would rec commend this device to anyone looking for an affordable laptop that doesn't skimp on capabilities. The battery is also incredible and I usually get 12-14 hours of battery life. Not a 64 GB This tablet replaced an older ASUS Transformer 100 EEE Pad. Overall the tablet functions well and is pretty fast. It takes some time to get used to the Windows 8.1 operating system. MS Office Student and Home is preinstalled and all you need is the key code provided in the box. Only issue we had was that the SSD is not full 64 GB with any measure you can use. It is about 60 GB if use the 1000 Kilobyte per Gigabyte conversion and less if you use 1024 Kilobytes, the true computer Gigabyte. And we did account for all the partitions. There are total of three. Other than the SSD thing, the computer is well suited for what we need. Recommend to friends with reservation September 4, 2014
better than a galaxy anyday! Apparently when it comes to a tablet, I am a windows girl, which is odd because I have an android phone. I purchased a galaxy tab pro and really tried to like it for 2 months. We went to office depot to buy a blue-tooth mouse so I could use excel properly (one of my many complaints). I saw this tablet/computer. I did all of the things that an android system or regular tablet would not let me do. I then put the mouse back on the shelf, bought this tablet, and sold my galaxy on ebay. I have been happy ever sense! The only negative is the charger. I thought the battery was dieing all thing time, but I realized it was the charger not plugged in correctly. It uses a Mini USB chargers which I have a few around the house from android phones so I just use other chargers instead of the one that came with the tablet and I have not had an issue since. In fact it stays charged longer than my phone, I guess because I do not have apps running constantly on it. September 1, 2014
Pleased With Purchase After usinging this laptop computer for a week and half I am very pleased with its performace. Being 80+ I wondered if I would be able to use it. Being totally unfamiliar with Windows 8 it was scary. But, while being quite different from Windows XP I was used to it has not been that bad. August 28, 2014
