    Rated 3.3 out of 5by 4 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5by OK Product Hard to tell when it has finished the cleaning process, but otherwise works OK. July 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Necessary for cds I bought this product for my wife, since she listens to audiobooks all the time this product ensures listening without skipping. December 14, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5by Confusing, negligble benefit, expensive As the previous reviewer said, the "instructions" are confusing - I ended up going with what's on the back of the packaging - which says let it play for around 5 seconds. Afterwards it made no difference to disc playback (discs work fine in standalone player, but not in computer player). Oh - and it costs an extra $5 ($12.99) if you buy it instore. August 15, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 Instructions Unclear Or, to be more specific, the instructions raise doubts. Track 1 begins with a few seconds of music, then a lady's voice tells you to wait for the music to stop and then skip to track 3. (The music stops in 5 or 10 seconds, the track goes for another 10-20 seconds and then ends.) The 2nd track is 35 minutes long, and apparently you are supposed to skip it. Track 3 begins with the lady saying, "The cleaning is now complete. Please enjoy the music." Then some nice music plays for about 2 minutes. Here's what's confusing: there is no explanation of when the cleaning is actually taking place. Did it happen when I was skipping tracks? Did it happen in the millisecond of silence at the start of track 3? Or was it when I was waiting a few seconds for the music to stop on track 1? And if it was at ANY of those times, why is track 2 labeled "Clean the laser lens" (you see the track name when you insert the disc into a computer)? That makes me feel like I'm supposed to play the 35 minute track to get the cleaning done, and maybe skipping track 2 was a mistake. If you are really supposed to skip track 2, why not name it "Please skip to track 3"? The voice on the disc should explain the process more, to give the user more confidence in the product. How long should it take? When does cleaning occur? Etc. I'm not sure if the product worked or not yet. August 26, 2010
