Tripp Lite Switched ATS / Auto Transfer Switch provides a redundant power option for single-corded network devices. Dual input cords support separate connection to PRIMARY and SECONDARY power sources. The ATS will normally maintain continuous output to all outlets as derived from the primary input cable. If the primary power source becomes unstable or fails altogether, the ATS will switch over to the secondary power source until the primary input is restored and stable. Switched PDU features include individually controllable output receptacles and built-in network interface. Super-fast switchover between primary and secondary power sources occurs within milliseconds. ATS functionality is supported by any two compatible AC power sources, regardless of phase angle, to support a variety of advanced redundant power networking applications. Enables fault tolerant hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS and fully redundant UPS protection when each cord is connected to a separate UPS system. In a two-UPS environment, the primary input cable must be supported by a full time sine wave UPS with zero transfer time. Tripp Lite SmartOnline series is highly recommended for use as the primary UPS in a two-UPS application. ATS configurations utilizing separate mains circuits, backup generators and even separate utility power grid feeds are fully supported. On-board ATS processor constantly evaluates power quality on both input sources to prevent transfer to the secondary source when unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source. Front input LED's display primary or secondary power availability.

PDU Switched ATS with Individually Controllable Outlets for Power Management
|Tripp Lite's PDUMH15ATNET Switched/Metered PDU with ATS is the ideal choice for distributing and managing power in high-density IT environments. Featuring a built-in SNMPWEBCARD, the PDUMH15ATNET provides full remote power monitoring and control via a secure network or web browser interface. The PDUMH15ATNET can monitor and report input power status, output power, PDU load conditions and more. Its 8 5-15R outlets are individually controllable to enable load shedding, load ramping and remote rebooting of locked-up servers and other network devices. To prevent inrush-related equipment interaction at startup, the outlets are factory-programmed for sequential activation. A digital meter is also provided, enabling the PDU's load to be monitored on site. The PDUMH15ATNET also provides integrated automatic transfer switching (ATS). Should the primary power source become unavailable or unstable, ATS will switch the PDU to the secondary power source until primary power is restored and stable. ATS capability makes the PDUMH15ATNET an ideal choice to distribute power in mission-critical, zero-downtime applications. This PDU features an all-metal housing and a switchless design to prevent accidental shutoff. The PDUMH15ATNET is configurable for 1U rackmount installation with included hardware, and is also suitable for 0U vertical installation in the cable management area of many rack enclosures.|
Built-In Network InterfaceThe PDUMH15ATNET provides IT personnel with enhanced oversight of network power conditions. It features a built-in SNMPWEBCARD that enables full remote power monitoring and control via a secure network or web browser interface. The PDUMH15ATNET can monitor, report and log input/output power status, PDU load conditions and more. These capabilities simplify and streamline the task of network power management.
Remote Outlet ControlThe PDUMH15ATNET's 8 outlets are individually controllable via network or web browser interface, providing a higher level of network power control. These controllable outlets enable power management tasks such as load shedding, load ramping and rebooting of locked-up network devices to be performed remotely. To prevent inrush-related equipment interaction at startup, the outlets are programmed for sequential activation at 250-millisecond intervals when the PDUMH15ATNET is energized.
Automatic Transfer Switching (ATS)With its integrated ATS capability, the PDUMH15ATNET is the ideal power distribution solution for mission-critical, zero-downtime applications. Should the primary power source become unavailable or unstable, ATS will switch the PDU to the secondary power source until primary power is restored and stable. Two 12-ft. power cords with 5-15P plugs are provided: an attached cord to serve as the primary input and a detachable cord to serve as the secondary input. The switchover from primary to secondary power occurs within 2-7 milliseconds, minimizing the effect on connected equipment.
Digital Current Meter and Front-Panel LEDsThe PDUMH15ATNET is equipped with a digital current meter that enables IT personnel to monitor the total load on the PDU in real time. This meter helps to ensure that the PDU is used at maximum capacity with no danger of overload. Additionally, 8 front-panel LEDs show each outlet's power status, and two LEDs show the power status of each input line cord.
Versatile Installation OptionsThe PDUMH15ATNET is easy to integrate with a wide range of data center and network applications. It is configurable for 1U rackmount installation with included hardware, and is also suitable for 0U vertical installation in the cable management area of many rack enclosures. The PDUMH15ATNET is further optimized for reliable service in IT applications with a rugged all-metal case, high-quality outlets and plugs, and a switchless design to prevent accidental shutoff.
2-Year Product WarrantyFor your peace of mind, the PDUMH15ATNET comes backed by a 2-year manufacturer's product warranty.
