this is the desk i have been looking for
for the past two years I have been looking for a desk. it has all the features I wanted. Sauder products have never disappointed me. the color in samples does no look like the actual color it looks better in person. the directions were good you just need to read it carefully before assembling.
two issues would be the guide wire opening in middle of desk it interfered with placing my monitor there so I removed the plastic rim. also the privacy panel should be more towards the front since some of the wires ended up in front of it.

A pain to assemble
Yesterday I purchased this 2 Drawer Classic Desk.
The instructions are very badly written. To put the top part on was a mess since the holes did not aligned. Lots of trouble to assemble this desk. It is not easy at all. Instructions are to assemble and attach a hutch, but since did not purchase it since that is separately it does not tells you exactly what to do if not doing a hutch. Did not know there is a hutch available until reading the instructions. Next step shows the top already on it and don't tell you exactly about it without doing the hutch.
Still have not finish assembling it and hope today to be able to finish assembling it.
Since this are made and cut by machines, seems to be not exact and perfect. Some errors on it and not the greatest. Is a shame that is not quality.

Excellent purchase
I found the desk easy to assemble and love the looks of it.

desk ok, hutch junk.
Desk went together just fine. The hutch had a board cut short so nothing went together right. Picaso woulda been proud though.
I would not get the hutch.
