    Rated 4.4 out of 5by 110 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5by Sauder Graham Ridge Computer Desk With Hutch This is a well made, sturdy, handsome desk. It took a little while to put together but it was not hard at all. They also provide assistance through videos on their web site if you have problems putting it together. All of the pieces were provided and there was no damage during shipping, which was fast by the way. I love the new desk and would maybe consider buying another one. August 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Good value, looks great I've only had the desk for a couple of weeks so I cannot speak to how well it will hold up, but so far so good. Knowing that knock-down furniture is heavy and doesn't move well, I placed the piece on sliders so it would be easy to slide away from the wall to change wiring and such. Contrary to the instructions, I didn't permanently attach the hutch with screws and left out the three little cubbyholes on the right side of the hutch to make room for a 2nd monitor. I glued felt to the bottom of the hutch to protect the finish of the top. The high gloss finish of the faux marble top contrasts nicely with the satin finish of the wood parts. May 25, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5by Looks great Many parts were not marked made it had to put together, other then that very satisfied. May 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Excellent quality, well built, easy to assemble I am extremely impressed with the quality of this desk. I could not buy the material to build this for what I paid for this product. It is well engineered, goes together well, directions are clear, easy to follow. I was very pleased with the whole project and am very happy with how it looks in my living room. Now I can spend time with my wife while I keep up with my paperwork. I recommend this to anyone. The draws have full extension draw rails, which only come on higher quality furniture, surprised me to have them on this desk. Nice touch. April 13, 2015

    Answer:
I saw this and noticed that the back of the desk is black and does not appear to be made of the same material as the front. It is made so you could remove a panel for the cords leading to the computer if you put a computer inside the desk in the place made for it, but if you don't choose to do that or won't have it near an electrical outlet, then you can just leave the panel as it is. Whether it could be used as a receptionist desk where people will also see the back of it would strictly be a matter of opinion and someone may want to decide that taking the rest of the furnishings into consideration. It has a nice marble desktop which I think makes it look more expensive.

No, the back is paper board, for strength and has holes to cut out, if you choose to put your connecting wires thru, as well as a square cut out for your CPU to ventilate, if you want your CPU in the unit..

Not really...cardboard backing as with most home office desk. I had a carpenter friend cut a piece of 1/4 oak and stained it to match. Cost about $20 for everything.

I am interested in getting two of these desks.
I know that the hutch comes with it, but I want to know if the hutch has to be assembled and used.

Will the desk hold with out the hutch and are there predrilled holes on the desk top that would be visible if the hutch was not used?

    Answer:
Glad you asked. No the hutch does not have to be assembled and used. The desk is very sturdy with its own separate backing cover piece and holds perfectly well on its own. I know because I used the desk alone for a week before finishing assembling and installing the hutch on top of it. There are no pre-dilled holes on the desktop so nothing shows if the desk stands alone. Desktop holes must be drilled by the installer at the time of assembly.

    Answer:
You can absolutely use without the hutch. Instructions start off with putting the top hutch together but you can skip those. There are no pre-drilled holes in the work-surface. In fact you have to complete drilling them yourself if you want to assemble the whole units including the hutch.

The size of the left cabinet is big enough for a decent sized desktop tower. Just from looking at it, I would say 5'' x 20''. The entire back of the cabinets can be left open to hide any cabling you may have.

    Answer:
Yes, that cabinet you mention is meant for CPUs and can hold a desktop case easily (unless it is one of the giant Mac Pros!). It is fairly big and has an adjustable shelf. Yes, there is a cut-out for cables on the back of this cabinet as well as on the rear wall for the monitor. Keep in mind that there is no keyboard tray, so it might be a pain to use a desktop!

    Great unit, overall!
