Sauder? Graham Ridge Computer Desk With Hutch, 47 1/10H x 59 1/16W x 23 1/2D, European Oak
Awesome desk, few like these on the market
I've had this desk for so many years, I can't remember when I bought it. What struck me the most is the textured finish on top and functional cabinets. The cabinets fit all my electronic equipment and doesn't show a single cord. The wood made of particle board is of high quality and the top is plain oak. The desk is heavy enough to where it is sturdy and light-weight for one person to put together. After many years, I took it apart and removed the hutch without any problems. It has a super-easy assembly for the quality of this desk. My only concern is, they don't make them like this on the market.

This cabinet has been constructed with care and precision. All the holes for required hardware match up as well as the lines of the shelfs, cabinet and drawers. MY ONLY ISSUE is with the left side and rear cabinet area where your legs go. This needs to be reinforced. It will come apart if you try and move it on carpet. I fixed this by adding 4 braces and it really helped to make it much more stable. Carpet sliders help too. It is a very heavy unit. If you plan on putting this together yourself. Be patient it will take a little time (about 2 - 3 hours depending your expertise. Read and Follow the directions. The directions are well written.

Nice looking desk
Nice desk for the money, but be prepared to spend a little over 3 hours putting it together if you are handy. Lots and Lots of pieces. My husband put it together in 3 1/2 hours. Reading the instructions are a must, don't rely on just looking at the illustrations. Have a second person on hand because certain steps in assembling the desk will require two people. Do Not Move This Desk By Yourself!! It is very heavy and you could easily break the left side off. Most of the pieces are clearly marked, but when my husband was putting the file cabinet drawer together one panel was not marked, but my husband figured out which way it should go. If you are not handy putting things together, you might want to hire someone who is. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Sturdy, Solid Workspace
I purchased this desk several months ago. Before I go into further detail, I will say that I have been so happy with it that I'm getting a second one for my home office for my assistant to use. Because I have little patience for assembly of furniture, I used the Office Depot contractor to build the desk. $60.00 and they were in and out of my home office in under an hour. Best money I've ever spent for my business and well worth it. The box is EXTREMELY cumbersome and heavy. When I get the second one, I'll have it delivered and also pay to have it assembled. The assembly technician did an amazing job at putting it together and this does not feel weak or poorly constructed at all. I suspect that reviewers who complain that this feels "cheap" or "unstable" did not put it together very well. In no way does it feel like it is anything less than a well-made, very sturdy product. My ONLY complaint about this desk is that it was missing the pull for the top drawer. The assembly technician said he would have it ordered for me and then even come back to install it (even though I was certain I could handle the drawer pull on my own) at no additional charge, which would have been great if it had actually ever been delivered. In several months, I've not received it. Otherwise, it is a wonderful workspace with lots of room for my laptop, a 23" second screen monitor, a speaker system, lots of supplies, books and tons of pictures, a plant and a candle. I have not had any experiences with the wood chipping or the faux marble surface "warping." I find it interesting that other reviewers complain about it warping when wet. Here's a suggestion - use a coaster! It's a great desk - spend the money on getting THEM to put it together! Well worth it!
