Canon PIXMA? MG7120 Wireless Inkjet Photo All-In-One Printer, Copier, Scanner 2.9 5 50 50
big decline in quality I'm quite disappointed in the MG7120 which is a replacement for a Canon Pixma 610. I'm a big Canon fan, so to see this poor quality in a unit that isn't a bargain unit is upsetting. I honestly like the unit less each time I use it. (-) Noisy. Every move seems to be a slam. The door slams open and then again later it slams open again for no apparent reason. It runs through all kinds of movements every time you use it = premature wear. I miss the rear feed of the old printers. Photo paper and cover stock do not like to be bent so tightly as is required by this feed. Duplexing is very unreliable, typically slipping alignment (and no it's not my paper). Scanner quality is poor compared to prior units (somehow) even on an upper setting. Poor location for ultra sensitive power button - touched it so much while scanning that I finally put cardboard over it. I want to say something nice because it's a Canon but I can't. I really wish I would have gone with the alternate unit I had in my hands that day (Epson). November 5, 2014
terrible software Great print quality, but worst software ever. The scanning and CD software is really bad. Documentation is equally bad. October 27, 2014
Will not buy this again. Problems from the first. All of a sudden cannot change the files to print to photo paper. Colors turn out with a brown tinge, in spite of the PhotoShop preferences.. The printer keeps saying I have to upgrade. but cannot due to the directions given. Sorry Canon, something is wrong, and it is not me. October 17, 2014
Worst purchase ever What a waste of money! It won't connect and when I finally get it to connect, it will print one picture and then go "offline." Don't waste your money on this printer. August 26, 2014
