Realspace Caldwell Executive High-Back Bonded Leather Chair, Black 3.7 5 40 40
Solid Chair.. ..even if you weigh more than 250 pounds. Comfy, angled correctly, and provides enough lumbar support. I love how high the chair can get with the lever..I tried it in store and it was the best chair there for the price. If you have never built one of these, it may be a little frustrating. However, I have gone through the ropes with another chair and it only took me half an hour. DONT expect the holes to align is designed that way on purpose. You will need to put a little muscle to get it to align and screw everything together. However, the outcome is that your chair will last for years and won't wear out quickly if you handle it roughly. Very uncomfortable chair I visited my local Office Depot to look at office chairs. They had this chair as a display item and out of all the chairs there, I thought this one felt relatively comfortable and I liked the appearance of it. However, the one at the store looked slightly used. I obtained the ordering information and opted to go home and order a new one just like it. When the chair arrived, I assembled it, wheeled it up to my desk and sat down. To my utter disappointment, it did not feel anything like the one at the store and it is terribly uncomfortable. The thoughts of disassembling it and trying to fit it back into its huge box and return it to the store was too daunting to mess with. Do not purchase this chair, it is not worth the money. Great chair Nice high back and very comftorable. February 17, 2014
Fair About 4 months ago, I purchased this chair in-store when it was like $80.00 off. It was comfortable, and it was on sale, so I bought it (the last one they had). I got it home and began to assemble it. Aligning the holes in the arm wrests and the seat cushion and back was very difficult. They were not aligned at the factory at all. I first sat in the chair after finally wrestling with it to get the holes sort-of aligned (and some of the screws kept spinning), and found it to be marginally comfortable, and following that, the arm rest came out. At first with regard to comfort, I figured it would loosen up as it got worn in. Rather what happened is, as it got worn in, all of the cushion practically went away, and the seat started peeling apart and leaving little black things all over my house. Not to mention, the backrest never wore in, and instead stayed rather stiff. Not a fan of this chair, I will be returning it under warranty in the near future. Hard to believe it was built so poorly it couldn't even last 4 months without showing the age of a comparable office chairs that's much older. January 26, 2014
