Sturdy and Attractive
It took me right at 2 hours to put this thing together. The instructions are fairly easy to read and understand. A few of the parts didn't quite fit perfectly, but they fit well enough to be functional. It loses a star for being somewhat difficult to assemble, but the finished product is very nice.

Bush Lateral File Impression
Construction:
The instructions include drawings only (no text) but are really well done. One error only... Step one shows the rail position inaccurately. Just use the pilot holes and you'll be fine. Poke a hole in the top of the glue tube with a small nail. I built the cabinet by myself taking four hours to complete. I don't use my tools all that much so you can probably do it faster. Make sure the drawer guides are parallel to the top of the drawer. I eyeballed and it worked out great. The pilot holes were perfect size and nearly all were exact which made this an easier project than most. The drawers required a solid push to insert. They matched perfectly once in.
Function:
A mechanism allows only one drawer to open at a time so it won't tip over. Nice feature. The guide says it holds 200 pounds on top and 75 pounds in each drawer. It feels very sturdy. The file guides are of a much better design than the desk I built a few years back. They fit snug into the drawer. The back of the cabinet has a cherry finish so the cabinet does not need to go against a wall thereby faciliatiing arrangement of your furniture.

File Cabinet
My daughter and I were able to assembly this and the directions were easy to follow. It has lots of room for files and can accomodate regular or legal size folders. Also, it really looks nice and can also use the top of the cabinet for the printer.
