Verbatim 8GB Store 'n' Go PinStripe 49062 USB Flash Drive 3.5 5 3 4
piece of junk Failed after 1 week of use. Verbatim refuses to honor the warranty. November 4, 2014
Good, but ... ... just getting the flash drive out of the blister pack is a chore and dangerous. One needs a sharp blade such as a box cutter to slice the clear plastic blister; it is impossible to tear the cardboard backing and there is no "back door" to open and pull out the drive. The flash drive lacks an LED activity light so the only way you know if it is connected is to examine your computer's file directory. On the other hand, I've never had a problem with a Verbatim product and I've been using them since the days of 3.5-inch diskettes (show you how long I've been a computer user). And the price I paid at OfficeMax -- one dollar per GB -- can't be beaten. I'm seriously considering changing my method of file transfers to colleagues from DVDs to Verbatim flash drives (I have some very large graphics files) as long as I can get them on sale. good product I've used other Verbatim products in the past . . . And these Flash Drives are great easy to carry and you get great quality play back . . . Use them for my photo back up . . . . April 8, 2013
