Kensington? InSight? Compact Adjustable Book And Copyholder 4 5 1 1
just what i needed There are very few options that I've found for simply holding a document up so I can comfortably type while viewing it. This product fits the bill without stripping your wallet. The design is very versatile - you can pull it up to accommodate up to a legal sized document (you will not be able to use the clip with any larger docs, but you can still set them on the stand). You can adjust the angle by varying degrees. What I don't like is that if I try to adjust the angle while my paperwork is on it, it tries to collapse. If you barely knock it, the support bar will pop down and the whole thing will drop. But this doesn't happen very often. I just have to use both hands to adjust it. The clip at the top is very useful. Overall, I really love the functionality and especially the price. I haven't tried it with heavy hardcover books, so I can't review on how well it will hold up with those. I clip 1 - 50 sheets of paper to it at a time. I've used it daily for 3 years and it's still holding up fine without any visible wear. June 10, 2011
