If you are looking for a set of basic stereo speakers these are not a the worst option, but that isn't saying much.
These speakers will provide decent stereo sound at low to mid-range volume levels, but the sound becomes distorted as the volume is turned up higher when used with a device that has its own volume controls (which is the case with computers). When using these speakers on your computer you will need to keep your computers volume settings in the mid to high range and do fine adjustments with the volume knob on these speakers. If you avoid the higher settings on the speakers themselves you won't have much, if any, distortion.
While the distortion issue is bad enough, these speakers also use one of those brick-with-a-plug type AC adapters. The AC adapter on these is not terribly large compared to some other devices, but there is no reason to need it, or the 7.5 volts it outputs, to run a set of 4 Watt speakers. Other 4 Watt speakers on the market use a USB cable for power, and I think if Cyber Acoustics had designed these to use USB for power (which only provides 5 volts) then the sound quality would not suffer at higher volume settings.
Since Cyber Acoustics decided to use an AC wall adapter it bears mentioning that the power cord for these speakers also seems to be a little short (only about 1.5 feet longer than the 3.5mm audio cable). While this may be just fine for most, the cord was just a bit short for my setup when compared with a set of USB powered speakers that I have on my other computer.
In all fairness these speakers have an attractive design, and they don't feel cheaply made, unlike some other products on the market. They are aesthetically pleasing to look at, and so long as the speakers aren't turned up past the mid-point and are located pretty close to the power outlet they do work.
That all being said the issues I have with these speakers are not offset in the slightest by the sturdy feel of the product, or it's aesthetics. At the end of the day it comes down to the price for what you get. The bottom line is that there are better products out there that address the issues I have with these speakers, and some of those better products are less expensive.

These speakers worked good for about 10 hours. Then they started to hiss and have static every few hours. They were exchanged for another brand. The return/exchange was very easy and efficient. Thanks, Office Depot!

Purchased these for an office desktop computer, but the sound is very poor. No mid or low range tones. In fact, the sound from my monitor's built in speakers is higher quality, so I returned these immediately.
