Sauder Heritage Hill 60 Executive Desk, 29H x 59 1/2W x 29 1/2D, Classic Cherry With Laminated Cherry Top
This unit when completed is a beautiful desk. It seems very sturdy, but I would suggest that while the desk is upside down in the construction process, slides(the little round ones) could be nailed/tacked to the bottom of the desk to make movement of the desk easier when it is completed. These slides could be included in the package for a few cents more. Assembly was not hard. I am a 76 year old male, and I put it together alone, except for turning the desk over when required. A couple of pieces were chipped so I gave a 4 star rather than five. They were promptly replaced by the manufacturer, but I was delayed several days. One chip was on the very last piece, and I just put it on as it was, rather than asking for a replacement piece.

beautiful desk but not what I wanted
the desk was beautiful, the color rich looking. Easy to assemble but time consuming. Took about 3 hours.
However, I sent it back because of the cpu cabinet. I had no use for it. I would have loved to have drawers there instead. I would then have given it 5 stars.
If you're looking for something to hide your cpu tower then I would highly recommend this desk.

worse product ever
desk was made of cheap particle board and I had to send it back as we were half way through and noticed they sent the wrong desk. We'll see what happens if we get the right one now. Wasn't worth the money.

I am a veteran of "assembly required" furniture. Have no problem with it, as long as it is high quality. And I have enjoyed many Sauder products. And this is the first time I've been truly disappointed.
Ordering and delivery were great. Assembly is very easy. And the desk is beautiful......Almost. There are NUMEROUS "dings" on the finish. I'm talking down to the bare wood scratches and gashes. All very visible. Obviously, I can cover these up with stain. But why should I have to after paying $300??
The only other complaint is that the keyboard shelf is much too shallow (top to bottom), forcing you to have it fully extended for use....putting you another foot away from the screen.
