Better Than Sliced Bread-Helios 30 Thermal Binder I have been a library media specialist for 26 years. I have always had problems trying to repair books successfully and have literally used every type of glue on the market. The Helios 30 Thermal Binder glues the books back together and they look like brand new! I am so impressed and happy with the results! April 25, 2014

I hate the look of wire binding on calendars so I find this product extremely interesting. I'd like to know if this would bind a calendar ( 12 pgs 8x11)

The Helios 30 would work well for this purpose! This machine binds up to 300 sheets in one step with a 1-3 minute binding cycle.

The supplies needed are the thermal covers. These covers come as one piece and include two covers and a thermal binding bridge.

Do you have to use special paper? What is the cost of binding supplies? i.e. the glue, etc.

Answer:
You can bind any type of paper with this binding machine, as long as the total page count does not exceed 300 pages. This machine does not use any glue. The only extra supply that you will need to purchase are thermal covers which contain a front and back cover, as well as the thermal binding spine that ultimately holds everything together.
