Office Depot Brand Steno Books, 6 x 9, Gregg Ruled, 70 Sheets, Greentint, Pack Of 12
Good but no perforation at top
I have used these steno pads for years and years, for work. And they are a good price, standard steno pads and I like the pale green tint for easy reading.
My only complaint is that, in the last couple of years, I noticed that something is missing:
it used to be that there was a perforation at the top, so that when you rip off a page, you had a clean edge up top on each sheet and the perforated hole paper parts stayed behind in the spirals.......Now, you have all that curly-q paper across the top of the sheet, that is now is something you have to CUT OFF. .
Sometimes I have to rip four or five sheets off to keep separately, with a staple or binder clip.
If you need to do this, you have to scissor the top to get rid of the multitude of hole perforations, or they knit together and its a pain to turn pages if they are not in the book. And when you trim the top, you inevitably have paper dots everywhere.
If you always keep the sheets on the pad, this is not an issue but for my uses, its a big problem.
it appears they did this for some kind of cost-cutting measure and due to this, I have to keep a scissors handy to cut off those tops before I staple them. Not a good thing.

It's just a steno pad
Not sure what other reviewers are noticing, but this is just a steno pad: you take notes on it, and that's pretty much it.
The pages are not _spotless_ (though they're already green-tinted, so...). But any specks are truly miniscule (i.e., you wouldn't notice unless you were really scanning the page). I've had no issues using these and haven't had to skip a page due to "blotches."
I didn't have trouble with curling pages, though pages are thin: if you use a liquid ink pen, like I do, you're not going to be able to use the back, for instance (though the ink doesn't bleed through to the next clean page).
In short, it's fine.

The paper seems to be recycled and a bit thinner than I like. The paper also curls at the bottom so if you need to refer back to previous pages it tends to be a mess.

Cheap and Useful
At work we go through these notebooks like nothing else, so I am happy that Office Depot offers 12-packs of them. I usually buy the white lined version and accidentally bought these "green tint" ones. The paper has a rougher, recycled-paper appearance and may not appeal to some as much as the pads with white paper, which offers a somewhat smoother writing surface ( I ultimately prefer those). All things considered these are a good buy for the price.
