Rated 1 out of 5by BrianB save you some time reading all the reviews
almost all of your 4-5 star reviews are from people who have successfully installed the software only, they have yet to use it. all of the 1-2 start reviews stating they would "not recommend this product" are from those that had the software installed, equipment was stolen, and they never saw it again. Time to move on to a different product.

I bought 7 licenses for company laptops. I really love the idea of this product. It's one of the best products out there but dissatisfied with constant loss of connection and with the online global support page.
I repeatedly get emails that one or more of our laptops have a status of not calling. Then I have to have the employee with that laptop bring it back in so I can fix it. The fix is I have to boot up the laptop, login to my absolute.com account from the laptop not calling so it can reestablish connection.
When I have a question I cannot find an answer on the global support page. I have to either call or email with my issue. I've gotten a prompt reply to my emails every time. That is great but I'd appreciate more information and answers to more questions on the support page.
It would be great if they could get the lojack to stay connected. Then the lojack would be the best on the market.

My laptop was recently stolen from my house, and while I was devastated by the fact that my pictures and personal information was gone, I had faith that this software would faithfully live up to what I paid for. THEY DID JUST THE OPPOSITE.
When I contacted Lojack with the situation, they gave excuse after excuse pertaining to why they could not reimburse any money, taking advantage of the fact that I had no control over the situation anymore. They first claimed that the computer was not connected to the software that I PAID for and put trust in. This was followed by the fact that my computer had successfully made contact with the software upon its installation, but they claim that two months later it was altered and no longer connected with the system. You would think they would let a valued customer know about this "disconnection,' but instead they used it to their own selfish advantage to avoid paying a what the service guarantee promised to a loyal customer. Upon further communication, they continued to take advantage by saying they "sent" emails pertaining to the issue (no record of these), and when asked for copies, none existed. Fishy.
Lojack? More like Hijack.

My house was broken into a few months back. The burglars kicked down the front door and trashed my house. It was a pretty traumatic experience. I was, however, comforted that they stole my computer with Lojack installed.
After filing calling the police to file a report, I contacted Lojack. They were very understanding and they got to work right away. Once the thief turned on the computer, the tracking software started to work. But when the thief did, Lojack contacted me to let me know that they were tracking my computer.
Yesterday, I got an email from Lojack that my computer was recovered with the help of the police department.
I'd say that when you purchase Lojack, you aren't purchasing an insurance policy, you are purchasing a tool that law enforcement can use to shut down black market networks and to employ justice.
