Rated 5 out of 5?by Windex I have always used Windex, and I don't plan on changing!! January 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5?by Used it for Years Have used windex for years and years now and I don't have one complaint. Some say it streaks, well if your windows are really dirty the first time they will streak just do it again and the streaks and excess dirt will disappear. January 2, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5?by I'm confused. It leaves streaks We've stuck to the "Original" for decades after something that was either called "dripless"? or "streak free"? left streaks. NOW, our bottle of "Original Streak Free Shine [with] Ammonia-D" left disheartening streaks on our glass coffe table and glass dining table. I finally got the streaks off by wiping carefully with water and removing the water beads carefully - making quite a task for me. - QUESTION: is what we bought truly the ORIGINAL or is it the "original streak free" ??? Otherwise, why are we getting streaks ??? December 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5?by Easy to use A bottle of Windex beats mixing up my own glass cleaner solution, especially when I am in a hurry. It seems to get the job done faster. December 4, 2014

Windex Original is America’s #1 glass cleaner*—for good reason. Trusted by generations for its famous streak-free shine, Windex Original is perfect for cleaning glass and a whole lot more. Thanks to its key ingredient, Ammonia-D , Windex Original starts working on dirt even before you wipe.

Plus, with the comfort trigger, easy-grip bottle and angled tube, you’re able to get more shine out of every bottle of the window-cleaning product.

*Based on AC Neilson Syndicated data

  • What can I do to get my windows and glass surfaces really clean?
Spray your favorite Windex cleaner on windows or glass surfaces, and then wipe it off with untreated paper towels, newspaper, or lint-free cotton cloths for a streak-free shine. Be sure to use enough of your favorite Windex product to remove all the dirt. Change cleaning towels as they become soiled. Tip: Old, clean cotton diapers are excellent for cleaning surfaces with Windex Cleaning windows on a cloudy day works best. Sunlight can heat up windows causing sprays to dry before you can wipe them clean.

    Precautions
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Unplug electrical appliances before using. Not recommended for use on wood or other varnished surfaces. Spot test other surfaces before using. Do not use or mix with other household cleaners.
