These are wonderful. We have a dry erase calendar that came with an adhesive already on it. No matter where we tried to stick it, it fell. I put 2 of these on the calendar and it has stayed on the wall for 3 months. The wall it's on is a rather rough painted surface, and they still do the job! Love them!

These clear spots don't seem like they should be able to hold up very much weight, but I've got a large comb pressed on one on the message center by my front door to remind my teens to comb their hair before leaving the house.
The dots are very sticky! It's completely respositionable, but like any repositionable adhesive if you move it too much the oils on your fingers or any dust can mess up the adhesion. But the dots are sticky enough to stick very well to different types of surfaces.
Also, because they are clear the work well to hang things in windows. That may wind up being my favorite use for these. Using them with laminated pages makes for quick decorations for holidays.
Full disclosure- I received some of these for review purposes. This is my honest opinion and my experiences with the product.

I recently started using Restickable dots in place of velcro when making picture schedules and PECS boards for my students with special needs; I don't think I could ever go back. The dots move easily from one laminated surface to another, stick to walls, doors, windows, and desks with out residue or limitations of the velcro strips. I love not having to try to remember if I had the hook or loop side attached to the board, and which I had attached to the picture. When the dots get dirty, I run a little bit of water over the dot, wipe it off, and keep on using it. When a student needs new pictures, I peel off the dot and put it on the new picture.
Only downside is the price. It can be very expensive when purchasing enough dots for all my students communication boards.
