    Rated 3.2 out of 5by 73 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5by Easy to Install I purchased another brand at Walmart and had so much trouble installing it. I returned it and decided to give up. I was at Office Depot to purchase printer cartridges, and happened to stop and look at what they had to extend my wi-fi range. An employee (Columbia was on her tag), stopped to help me and showed me the one she uses at home. She promised me it was very simple...and she was absolutely right! August 10, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5by Piece of garbage This thing never worked properly. After a day or less of setting it up, none of my devices would connect to it any longer. I then had to go back through the set up procedure to get my devices to be able to connect again. Then this process had to be repeated the next day... and the next... Don't waste your time purchasing this thing because you will be returning it a few days later. July 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Good device. Is good device, easy to program now the room whit no internet is the best place perfect comunication. June 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Great product Easy set up, economical, and it has the advantage of market validity, it works the way it's supposed to. June 29, 2015

    Answer:
I believe so, yes. When you connect this device to your home network (named "home1", for example) you have the opportunity to name this new device whatever you want ("home-Ext1", for example). The next extender you just name "home-Ext2" and so on. Depending where you are in your house you would connect the computer / tablet / phone to the closest extender.

    Answer:
YES! In various ways as well. you can put router in the middle of the house and an extender at each end. You can also go router on one end of house extender in middle and another extender at the other end. OR in my case. router on one floor. extender on lower floor. extender in basement.

    Hope that helps!

    Answer:
You have to connect to your existing wifi network like you would any other wireless device. Once you have connected, you set up an additional wireless network for this device. You would then connect devices (computers, tablets, phones, etc.) close in proximity to the extender wifi network, which will relay back through your existing wifi.

You would need to ensure that the device meet local wireless regulations. It would also be suggested that you purchase it in Japan, as taking it from the US to Japan could void the warranty.

    Answer:
You connect this device to your existing wifi network and it, in turn, becomes an additional wifi network to connect your computers/tablets/phones to that are closer in proximity to this device.
My best example I can think of is adding an extension cord to another extension cord...your existing modem is the one plugged into the wall, this device connects to your modem, and your computers connect to this.

We thank you for your question as we appreciate you taking the time to inquire about D-Link products. Please note that if you have connected a new WiFi modem to your network you will have to setup the DAP-1320 again to have access if your router configuration and setup has changed. Please visit www.support.dlink.com to view and download the Quick Install Guide needed to show you which options you may use to setup connectivity again to the DAP-1320 depending on whether or not WPS connectivity is available for access. If you continue to have problems or questions with the setup and configuring of the device, please contact D-Link support at 1-877-453-5465. Thank you for choosing D-Link.

    Image

Excellent signal coverage. Easy setup. Small size for easy placement.

    Extended Excellence.

"The DAP-1320 is one of the best wireless networking devices I've tested from D-Link, and among all of the extenders I've tested, it provided the best coverage. I was also impressed with how well it worked with another vendor's equipment. I'm confident that this little device, which did an impressive job of extending my test Wi-Fi network deployed in a high-rise office building with hundreds of access points all around, will work extremely well for the average home user."

"D-Link Wireless Range Extender gets a 4.5 out of 5 star rating, and is PCMag's Editors' Choice for wireless range extenders."

Why D-Link Wireless N Is Better

This Wireless N Range Extender uses Wireless N technology with multiple intelligent antennas to maximize the speed and range of your wireless signal to significantly outperform previous-generation Wireless G devices. The antennas make use of your home’s environment by bouncing multiple wireless signals off walls and ceilings to work around obstructions and help eliminate dead spots.
