Not sturdy and difficult to recall directions if you no longer have the instruction sheet. It is lightweight. I don't like the holder tabs because they don't move up and down.

I paid a premium for this "heavy duty presentation easel," so I would not have to worry about it. I give weekly presentations.
The problem is that the back leg does not lock in place. This is a design flaw as evidenced by 1) two other reviews on this Office Depot web site and 2) I exchanged my original purchase in May 2014 for this very reason and the exchanged item has developed the exact same problem.
Can't I please buy an easel that works?

We have six of these and two of them are having problems getting the legs to lock. There is an internal lock in the leg that has failed. We will try and get O.D. to refund or replace. We bought these about six months ago.

Rated 4 out of 5by Otto Not So Heavy Duty
My company conducts seminars throughout our state on a regular basis, and uses two or more easel stands at each presentation. We were dissatisfied with the flimsy easels acquired in our last purchase, so we were determined to get heavy duty easels this time around -- even if we had to pay much more. While the four easels we just bought are more heavy duty than those we purchased previously, two of the four new easels are falling apart and will be returned without our using them. A problem with all four of the easels is the style of joint/fastener used to keep the telescoping legs extended. We have other easels with a style that provides more ease and better holding power to keep the legs extended. Considering that we paid $134 each for these easels, I expected much, much, more. While they may be better than most, I don't think there is a lot of value in this product.
