Perfect for HTPC from couch This is the best keyboard/mouse stand I have found yet. Plenty of room for both, Quite sturdy does not move much while typing, good adjustments.Good job Office Depot May 9, 2014
Good, but.. If you settle on this one, read the review by "Uncle Geek" here to avoid pitfalls in assembly. This is good as it goes, but the lack of adjustment noted in other UG;s review is a concern. MUCH better is the more expensive "OFM Multipurpose Split-Level Stand", with the gas-cylinder powered arm for instant height change. It is also easier to assemble. May 4, 2014
It works for me This desk is less wobbly than the one I had before a move and seems less likely to have the computer table sag or flop over. The price is nicer than most of the other options. I wish it would adjust about four inches taller, so I could use in over my lap on my recumbent exercise bike, but my knees come up too high. I haven't found in the product listing or the instructions that the height adjustment is not continuous but in increments of about two inches. (60 mm?) OTOH, when it's locked in place, it definitely isn't going to sag like my previous one. The English instructions are written well, but leave out some points. Step 1: when inserting the end caps (H), be sure the embedded nut that will receive the caster stem is closer to the surface of the hole, not on the other side. If not, the caster stem isn't long enough to reach it. The "spanner" (open end wrench for us Merkins) is a steel stamping and using it to tighten the casters requires perseverence. If you have a 12 mm open end available, you'll like it. A half inch wrench will be a loose fit, but will work better than the included "spanner." Step 2: the center pillar (D) has two holes near the top. These need to facing the closer legs of the bottom frame (C). The picture is correct, but that this is important is not mentioned. (Also see the picture in step 6.) Step 6: you're not just screwing the adjustment knob (I) into the center pillar (D), but through its hole and into one of the threaded holes in the T-frame (E). You have to set the height you want and find the hole the matches it. Step 7: obvious by now, the table height is set by REMOVING the adjustment knob bolt (I), not just by loosening. We will hope most of us won't have to change height very often, as it's not as easy as it could be. April 7, 2014
Best Option for Adjustability Adjustments are excellent with tilt to either side, BOTH tops can adjust together or separiatly, hight has enough options for any circumstances, I Love, Love, Love mine and have been complimented on it alot. I busted my side table moving it and cant belive I found another!! Believe Me Buy Two of These they really are that nice. December 25, 2013
