this is best any one can buy best quality computer, It has meet all standard what is advertise for. November 16, 2014
Nice machine let down horribly by track pad I have been a loyal supporter of Lenovos, this is my 5th. It is a good machine IF you use an external mouse, if you have been relying on the integrated track pad and buttons, try before you buy. I honestly can not use the machine as the track pad is so horrible to use. There are no longer buttons, they are integrated in to the pad, and perhaps my hand is abnormal, but I simply can not stretch far enough to click. Otherwise, good machine, could do with another USB port, but good. November 13, 2014
Defect City I purchased a t440p that had extremely loud coil whine and the system would not wake up from sleep. I would have to hold down the power button to turn off the computer and then turn it back on if it did fall asleep. In the end I returned the defective computer and bought another one but the new computer also had the same issues...Very disappointed. I wont be buying another Lenovo product. November 12, 2014
Seemingly good computer, very bad touchpad design I am a computer engineer and I purchased this laptop for use as a capable design workstation. The computer feels well built and durable. It has been responsive thus far, has good display qualities, is quiet, and has demonstrated good battery life. Aware of previous reviews of the touchpad I purchased a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse for use with the computer. But how bad could the touchpad really be?...It is astonishingly bad. Relying solely on the touchpad for mouse input significantly reduces productivity. The touchpad is clunky, imprecise, and borderline unusable under the default settings. With a touchpad like this Lenovo should be genuinely concerned about customer retention. There are some things in this world that don't require significant innovation, and the touchpad is one of those things. Lenovo "innovated" the basic functionality right out of their touchpad. They've reinvented the wheel, and made it square. November 2, 2014
