First, this is a very good executive desk for the price. The package is very heavy so once delivered to your doorstep, unpack the contents piece by piece and arrange each piece in order of assembly. The assembly instructions, overall, were good. A note "Assemble remaining drawers" in a similar manner would indicate that not all desk drawers had assembly instructions.
A good idea in the manufacturing process would be to 'ink stamp' all the components - some components had nice labels - other components you had to pair up and test fit before assembly. Taking apart the bottom file drawer slides is harder than anticipated ... trial and error following the instructions did allow the bottom drawer slides to be taken apart.
All the hardware was sorted into plastic covered see through containers so that the hardware was readily accessible. Fortunately, there were NO missing screws or fasteners.
As the parts are removed from the packing box, arrange the panels into the components of each drawer. Drawer slides are of different lengths and need to be 'test fit' before attachment to the drawer sides.
When assembling the drawers, make sure that the drawers are SQUARE before tightening the screws that hold everything together. Use a regular screw driver - NO POWER SCREW DRIVER. You have more control.
It takes at least two people to tip the desk right side up AFTER the drawer cabinets are attached to the underside of the desk top. Put a heavy blanket on the floor - easy on the knees when assembling (or use a small pillow) and to keep the desk from marring the floor.
TAKE YOUR TIME - remember, this is a quality piece of furniture. Everything needs to fit together SQUARE so that the final assembly can occur without any problems.

Although this is a very beautiful desk, I will never order a piece of furniture that requires being put together. It took two competent adults 8 hours to finish the project. Instructions for the desk were very clear, however, the drawers were another story. Also the color of the desk was a much darker color than the picture showed and I was looking for the "golden oak" coler.

The directions are easy to understand. The parts are very good quality. No missing parts. ABOVE ALL. I love my finished product.
