Pricing, Assortment and Availability

This high-capacity electric pencil sharpener features dual cutters, a die-cast aluminum base and an industrial-strength motor for the heaviest of jobs. A built-in fan keeps the motor cool for extended use. The thermal overload switch shuts down the motor before overheating, then restarts it when cooled to the proper temperature. Auto-stop prevents oversharpening so you get the perfect point with each sharpen! The patented magnetic safety switch will not allow cutters to rotate when the shavings receptacle is removed. The extended selector dial lets you choose from 6 sharpening sizes. Includes a 6' power cord. U.L./CSA approved. Backed by the manufacturer's 3-year limited warranty.

Stanley Bostitch Commercial Electric Pencil Sharpener, Gray 2 5 4 4
What A Hassle It had only sharpened five pencils before it began stalling. I'm a teacher and I had to train my kids how to pull the pencil out when it stalls so that it doesn't wreck the sharpener altogether. The important part is finding a kid strong and fast enough to pull the pencil out. I'm on a very limited budget so am banking on using it until it "officially" breaks. It sharpens well. I'm still looking for that perfect sharpener. July 25, 2014
Dissapointed I am very dissatisfied. I have had it for only a year and it won't work. It keeps stalling no matter how lightly the pencil is inserted and no matter what brand of pencils are used i.e. Ticonderoga. I made sure that only adults use it (not my third graders) and it wasn't used to sharpen colored pencils. I am not buying this one again. February 18, 2013
poor quality, poor performance, high price Sharpener simply does not sharpen pencils. Sluggish. Drags. Not enough power. I work in a testing environment so need lots of pencils sharpened. No matter the angle or degree of sharpening needed, this machine could NOT handle it. We shall be keeping our old sharpener which I was hoping to replace! Don't waste your time or money on this machine. April 6, 2010
Good sharpener, very high price Good sharpener. I have sharpened over 2000 pencils in one of these over the last year. Relatively quiet and very fast. It made a loud noise and stopped working one time after about 120 pencils, but later it started again, and has worked o.k. since, but a little slower. I have tried almost all of the sharpeners available, and this one has worked the best so far. The cheaper model works o.k. for light use, but will get dull after about 300 pencils. Keep your receipt! This price is more than twice what I paid for mine. May 4, 2009
