Brother TN-210BK Black Toner Cartridge
Ok, but misleading
I purchased this because I like to print at home quite a bit for work. However, i want disheartened upon noticing that the black ink cartridge ran out so quickly. So I got smart. Since the drum toner level is gauged by a laser reader, I covered the clear window where it reads the level by placing black electric tape over it. It worked! I reset the printer and had no issues. Try it out!
I rated it as a 3 because a consumer shouldn't have to tweak a product when it clearly states a higher page yield.

Toner depletes extremely quickly
Besides the quality of print, no matter how many adjustments I make to the resolution or DPI, being extremely poor, the toner cartridges run out extremely quickly and are ridiculously expensive. Maybe if I got professional quality prints out of this, I could justify spending this much money, but they look like a cheap ink jet printer job. Find another printer.

Our experience with these cartridges is that they do not last long enough. Initially when this machine was purchased we were getting a much better return on the cartridge. Now most of the time, the cartridge does not last a full 30 days. The machine has become a money pit. In addition, the quality of the copies is not as good either and we have to adjust the quality to make a good copy and that copy still sometimes does not produce the type quality that we need.
There needs to be some adjustment made on quality and if you will check your records, you will see how money has been spent by this company on this product, therefore, it would be appreciated if some adjustment will be made on the expenses incured to make this a worthwhile purchase. Thanks

Order online and picked up in store. Better than the in store price by $30 Works well. As for capacity for what I use it for it meets expectations. Capacity on toners are based on 5% coverage per page and that is generally a typed page. When it is you are doing deep colors it is more like double that, but it is still a good value on the per page price. Better than going some where else where you may pay $1 per page.
