HP Pavilion 15-e020us Laptop Computer With 15.6 Screen & 3rd Gen Intel? Core? i3 Processor 3.8 5 4 4
Great for the money I bought this as an extra computer in our house. The price when I purchased it was 339.00. A great buy for a good product. Resolution could be a little sharper, but for what we use it for it is more than adequate. I do wish it had number keys on the right. But for the price, I couldn't pass it up! August 26, 2013
Good for the price! This is not a high end laptop but this is definitely sufficient for a student (who won't be doing heavy duty graphics work or video editing etc.). The HD is 750 GB which is plenty; 4GB RAM is sufficient for all basic home/college use. It has a CD/DVD burner and a SD card reader. As for someone's comment here about it having Windows 8 instead of Win7, please download a service pack 8.1 that turns your win8 into a Win7 GUI. Hope this helps. This is not a gaming laptop in my opinion. Battery life I believe is about 3.5 hours. I got this when office depot had a huge discount (total price $360). I say it's well worth it.... August 9, 2013
Configuration is Just OK There is no External Mic Input. Screen resolution is average. It is just an average laptop. Manufacturer has tried their level best to cut on key options to save cost. I would NOT buy or recommend this product again. August 3, 2013
Excellent buy for price paid It is so hard to separate reviewing the actual laptop from the operating system. The actual HP laptop is wonderful! Easy to get going, stays so cool even after hours of use compared to my 3.5 year old Dell that it is replacing, etc. HOWEVER, I am so far not a fan of Windows 8. Windows 8's new start screen is designed for use with a touchscreen, and if you don't get one with a touchscreen (which this HP does not have), then Windows 8 is a total waste of an upgrade. I personally was totally fine and happy with Windows 7 and only got a new laptop because my Dell was near death. Any laptop you get with Windows 8, prepare yourself that you will feel for the first couple of days that you are having to learn a whole new operating system, and get to the old desktop screen as soon as you can! Again this actual laptop is wonderful. Great buy. July 20, 2013

Answer:?
No, it doesn't come with OS disks. That's almost always the case. If you need to restage it, then you have to buy your own OS professional or home editions.

Answer:?
Hewlett-Packard does not ship recovery discs or operating system discs with HP notebook or desktop PCs. However, all current Hewlett-Packard desktop and notebook PCs will include a recovery partition on the hard drive that will allow for one copy of recovery media to be made. You can also contact the HP Technical Support department at 1-800-474-6836 to order recovery media.

This recovery information is an ?image? of the computer as it was originally shipped and includes the operating system, drivers, and all software that was originally installed on the PC. The recovery media will not include an original OEM operating system disc. I apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.

Answer:?
On average, 6-cell Lithium-Ion batteries will last approximately two to three hours on a single charge. Unfortunately, exact battery run time and life span information is not available. Various factors, such as the temperature of the battery, the applications running on the notebook, any attached devices, the brightness of the display, and the notebook power management settings all determine the run time and life span of your battery. Also, the performance and charge times of Lithium-ion batteries decrease over time. There are suggested ways to help increase the run time and life span of your battery:

- Reduce the brightness of the screen to the minimum readable level
- Remove peripherals (External hard drives, CD-ROMs, Zip drives, PC cards, and other peripheral devices) when not in use; these devices can draw power from your battery even when they are not in active use
- Reduce the speed of your processor
- Turn off the Wireless On-Off button when it is not in use (If your notebook has one)

I am thinking about buying this laptop. The main thing it will be used for is gaming. Like Sims 3, Roller Coaster Tycoon and some online games. Will it be a good laptop for that?
