Tvilum-Scanbirk Prima 4-Foot Desk With Metal Legs, 29 1/4H x 47 1/4W x 31 1/2D, Coffee
A very nice desk for a small office. Assembly is a little challenging, but the finished product is great. A good value!

I bought this for my son and he will be in high school.
Good value, appearance, and design, Take a little bit time to assemble but it's not difficult. Speed delivery from Office Depot. Highly recommend.

Fine desks, though the assembly was hard
I bought two of these desks to put side by side for a computer lab of sorts. I'm very pleased with them overall.
* They are nice and large and provide an excellent surface for a computer desk
* Their look is good. Clean and apparently resistant to scratches and
* They seem pretty sturdy (I'm using one right now)
* They have relatively open sides, so you can put several of them next to each other to make a long table.
There were some annoyances with them, though.
-- One of the tables was missing one of the screws that is necessary to install the little panels in the side. Because of the nature of the setup, you really do need a screw with exactly that head size for that location and it was a bit of a pain finding a replacement (not worth going back to the store, though)
-- The assembly requires a lot of screwing things in to plain wood with no guide holes. I mean a lot. I find this very annoying because I don't like being responsible for placing the screws in just the right location. I would have preferred it to have come with some kind of pre-drilled solution that takes the human element out.
-- The design of the side panels is particularly bad. They are like an inch smaller than the hole in which you place them and are suspended by four screws. You have to be responsible for holding the panel in place while screwing (which is hard) and also not screwing too far or the panel will be off center. It takes much longer than such a simple thing should. In fact, I don't understand why the side panel did not come pre-installed in its location.
-- This is a small thing. But these two desks can be connected together, but they did not come with the connector. I guess you only get that when you order the corner pieces (which I did not). I wish that would have been obvious. I guess I'll have to go back to the store and ask them if they have one I can have cheaply.
-- Also a very small thing (and I knew about it ahead of time). There is no hole for cables to go through this table. As a result the table itself looks very clean, but the cables draped down behind it do not. Probably not a minus because it was clearly not intended to have those holes.
It's a relatively heavy desk when you compare it to typical Ikea furniture. Not solid oak or anything, but definitly sufficient for office use. The final product is quite acceptable, but they could take a page from the Ikea book on the design and assembly.
