Tvilum-Scanbirk Prima Mobile File, 26 3/4H x 19W x 19 1/4D, Coffee
Very difficult to put together
The unit looks nice, however it was very difficult to put together.
We ordered four and one came with a broken lock. After the time and money it took to build, we did not want to return it so Office Depot customer service recommended we contact the manufacturer directly. We made multiple attempts by phone and email to inquire about getting a replacement piece and have yet to hear back.

Very nice, well made unit
The instructions could certainly be improved. They are only small pictures-no words. However, if you go slow and observe detail and orientation of parts and panels in the pictures and arrange your construction in the same manner--double and triple checking--it will come together with no mistakes. Lay out the parts in order before you start. Quality parts, perfectly drilled and aligned holes make for satisfactory construction. I am quite pleased with the quality of this mobile file. The instructions require careful study to stay on the straight and narrow path to victory.

Points about castor holes and glue
Some reviewers remarked about having to drill extra holes for the castors. I considered that, until I realized that the screws were self-tapping. That means you can screw them in without drilling a hole first. It takes a little more effort than when there is already a hole, but if you get the screws properly tightened, they are very, very secure,. The lack of holes was probably not a flaw, it was probably done that way to make sure the castors are really secure. It would have been nice if the instructions told you that.
Someone else complained that the little packet of glue was missing. From experience, you didn't miss much. If the glue was included, throw it away. Go and buy a small bottle of Elmer's or Gorilla wood glue.

Good at the price
I was looking for a specific size, and this was the closest match I could find at a reasonable price. Not thrilled about the color; I picked up brochures at my Office Depot store and there was a maple-colored version (can't find it on the Office Depot web site), but it was very slightly darker than my maple-colored desk. It would have looked like I tried to match them and failed. You can have any color you want, as long as it's "coffee", extra strong.
I read in reviews about other people's successes and failures assembling this. I have assembled a lot of furniture over the years, so I had very little worries about being able to assemble it. Delivery was around noon the day after I purchased it.
There is no text to go with the drawings in the assembly instructions, so you have to look at the detail in the drawings very carefully. Laying out the pieces for step 6, it didn't take too long to figure out that the magnified drawing pointing to "C" actually belongs to "B", and that the positioning of the slides on the pieces has to be swapped between "B" and "C". No problems other than that. You will probably end up with a few extra screws, etc., but that's better than missing some. I have some 24" clamps I used to use for woodworking, etc., so I used them when gluing dowels. They really helped tighten up the drawer fronts, and I don't think I could have completely tightened the bottom drawer without them. I also saved time by moving on to the next step while the glue was drying on the current step.
It's not the quality I really would have liked, but for the price, it's pretty good. The drawers slide fairly smoothly, and the positioning of the extra piece in the bottom drawer is spot-on for letter-sized files. I haven't tried taking it out and checking legal-sized.
