    Rated 4.2 out of 5by 188 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5by Slightly Bent after 2 months The chair is slightly bent forward after two months. I way under 300 lbs but bought this since I carry a sidearm and it kept getting caught on regular chairs. I am not sure it is as heavy duty as I had hoped. August 30, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5by Great except for one annoying thing The chair is nice and very comfortable and everything about it is great except for one minor thing that has turned major...when you lean back and forth the chair makes a popping sound that is very audible when on calls. I've tried tightening and oiling everything to no avail. It's not a squeak it's a pop coming from the base. I'm considering returning the chair as it only started about a week after setting it up. Very disappointed as it was sold as one of their best chairs. August 26, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5by So Far, Sooo Good I purchased this Chair because it could handle my weight and then some. At least that's what it says.. When putting it together, I noticed that it was constructed for just that. I like this chair so far, but it is still too early to tell as of yet. August 24, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5by Garbage and OfficeDepot knows it Hydraulic Gas Cylinder broke two weeks after purchase and it is back ordered for 10 weeks. Seat goes all the way to bottom. I am no where near the maximum of 500lbs for this chair. It is backordered because so many people are having this issue. DO NOT BUY any WorkPro chair. It is OfficeDepot's new private label furniture. Garbage! August 10, 2015

    Answer:
It does, but it's not really a feature. It's part of the back of the chair but unless you sit straight up against the back you won't notice it. I lean forward so I feel it on my lower back but it's not like super supportive. Still nice to have it, though.

    Answer:
The chair has built-in lumbar in the lower portion of the back cushion. The additional foam in the lower back provides adequate support for the lower back. The lumbar area height range is between 4 to 6 inches from the seat cushion when the seat cushion is compressed under weight.

Pull the little lever out to the side and it tilts approximately 45 degrees. I do not feel like I'm going to fall over when I lean back or rock. However, no napping in this one since it won't go really far back. :)

    Answer:
Pull out the handle on the right below the seat. But you can lock the tilt only in the upright position by pushing the same handle back in when upright.

I don't know how far back you can tilt when unlocked. But I don't think you can tilt it too far - far enough for the whole chair to fall over backward with you in it.

    Answer:
The chair tilt is controlled with the same handle that raises and lowers the chair. If you pull the handle out you unlock the tilt and by pushing the handle in until it clicks will lock in place. It goes back pretty far (almost like a rocking chair) just depends on how far you want it.

The arms come with the chair but you don't have to attach the arms to accomodate your condition. The chair is wide and high enough to still be comfortable without the chairs. When I was assembling the chair, I sat in it so long I forgot I had to attach the arms.

    Answer:
The arms are very well constructed and they come forward to offer elbow support without getting in the way whatsoever. Also, the arms make it easy to grasp while sitting down and serve as a guide. During assembly I thought about leaving the arms off and whether that would affect the sturdiness. This depends on how often and hard you lean back, but yes they can stay out of the assembly. I suggest trying it assembled first and only leave out the arms if necessary.

i dont think so, the arms are part of what keeps the back of the chair from bending over flat. the arms are actually some of the heaviest built part of the chair. it could be possible, but if your a big person like i am theres a risk of rolling out of it backwards without both arms

Bonded leather is not animal material. Google it and you will see a lot of lawsuits where bonded leather furniture is just peeling away.

    Answer:
Bonded leather is the leather equivalent of particle board. It's actually a mulch of leather made from recycled leather and leather scraps and remnants that aren't suitable for use.

The idea seems cheap and cheezy, but in my experience it actually is comfortable and attractive. It's definitely a step up from pleather. I've got no idea how it holds up long term, although I suspect it won't measure up to the real deal.

    Answer:
It is NOT.............. not, no way, can`t be real "leather". It feels nothing at all like leather. It is very plastic to the touch. Very hot to sit on. I believe bonded leather has some leather scraps mixed in. Save your cash and but real leather.

Bonded leather is not actually leather. It is what is commonly known as 'Vinyl', 'Naugahyde', except that it includes shredded scrap leather in the formulation. None of this shredded scrap leather is present at the seating surface.

How tall is the seat back? In other words, what is the measurement from the back of the seat cushion to the top of the back cushion?

    Answer:
Roughly 26" from the seat cushion to the top of chair (it's kind of hard to measure, because the back is on an angle). I am 5'7" and the top of my head is even with the top of the chair.

I am 6' 4" and I can lean my head back and it is comfortable. I would say I have about 3 inches on the headrest. For the price and comfort I would recommend it

Hi, I just purchased the Realspace Pro 15000 and love it. But I do have a question, when I sit and lower it a few inches to what I like, after I get up, the chair raises back up. This causes me to adjust the height each time I sit. Is this normal for the gas cylinder? Or is it supposed to stay at the level I set it at.

    Thank you,

Mine seems to stay where I originally set it. The lowest possible height. Do you share your chair with someone who changes it constantly?

It should stay at the height level you have it set at. I've not had any problems with mine moving. I would contact Realspace about the problem. It sounds to me like the gas cylinder on your chair may be defective.

It should stay at the adjusted level.Check to make sure height adjusting lever is in neutral position. If it is and it still raises it has a faulty valve.
