Rated 4.3 out of 5by 178 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5by So Far So Good I have been very pleased with this chair since I got it home. I have not had any problems that the other reviews had. I also had the store assembly it. I bought this chair online and that was a fiasco. Do not trust the site inventory numbers to decide where to buy from. I did that and found the store I ordered from did not have a boxed chair and a store that the site said did not have a chair did have a boxed chair. All was figured out and the sales people were very accommodating. I will also add that I am what most people would consider a rather large guy. July 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by New Office Chair Comfortable, nice looking and solidly built. So far so good, only time will tell more. July 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Best Yet! I purchased this chair to replace another Big Man computer chair that had a carry capacity of 350 lbs. The old chair was uncomfortable, cut off the circulation in my legs, and the back was too low to lie back and take a snooze. Finally the base broke and I had my reason to purchase this new one. I researched and found the WorkPro 15000 chair at Office Depot. As soon as I sat in it the deal was made. The chair is very large, very well made of heavy gage steel, and the leather seating is extremely comfortable. It has a 500 lb. carrying capacity. I can lean back in the chair and it fully supports my head and I can snooze whenever I want to in perfect comfort. I love this chair, it's the best I've ever owned. It comes with a 10 year limited Warranty which I appreciate as well. Now I'm large, 6'2" and presently right there at 400 lbs. and I am entirely comfortable in this large, and wide, extremely well made chair. Got it on sale at Office Depot for $250.00 on, and I'm delighted to say the least. My search for the perfect computer chair is completed, I've found the best. YES! July 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Awesome. Literally walked into the store and bought this chair. It only took me 45 minutes to assemble; straight forward instructions. It was a little awkward screwing the back and the seating together but if you use a bed/table to hold the seating and use the floor to hold the back of the chair, you should have no problem putting the two together. Upgrading from a wooden chair, this chair is amazing (no surprise) I am a college student and sit on this chair for long periods of time. I even eat on this chair, that is how amazing it is! Showed my friends and they were impressed with the chair. July 22, 2015

Answer:
It does, but it's not really a feature. It's part of the back of the chair but unless you sit straight up against the back you won't notice it. I lean forward so I feel it on my lower back but it's not like super supportive. Still nice to have it, though.

Answer:
The chair has built-in lumbar in the lower portion of the back cushion. The additional foam in the lower back provides adequate support for the lower back. The lumbar area height range is between 4 to 6 inches from the seat cushion when the seat cushion is compressed under weight.

Pull the little lever out to the side and it tilts approximately 45 degrees. I do not feel like I'm going to fall over when I lean back or rock. However, no napping in this one since it won't go really far back. :)

Answer:
Pull out the handle on the right below the seat. But you can lock the tilt only in the upright position by pushing the same handle back in when upright.

I don't know how far back you can tilt when unlocked. But I don't think you can tilt it too far - far enough for the whole chair to fall over backward with you in it.

Answer:
The chair tilt is controlled with the same handle that raises and lowers the chair. If you pull the handle out you unlock the tilt and by pushing the handle in until it clicks will lock in place. It goes back pretty far (almost like a rocking chair) just depends on how far you want it.

Answer:
The arms are very well constructed and they come forward to offer elbow support without getting in the way whatsoever. Also, the arms make it easy to grasp while sitting down and serve as a guide. During assembly I thought about leaving the arms off and whether that would affect the sturdiness. This depends on how often and hard you lean back, but yes they can stay out of the assembly. I suggest trying it assembled first and only leave out the arms if necessary.

Answer:
Bonded leather is the leather equivalent of particle board. It's actually a mulch of leather made from recycled leather and leather scraps and remnants that aren't suitable for use.

The idea seems cheap and cheezy, but in my experience it actually is comfortable and attractive. It's definitely a step up from pleather. I've got no idea how it holds up long term, although I suspect it won't measure up to the real deal.

Hi, I just purchased the Realspace Pro 15000 and love it. But I do have a question, when I sit and lower it a few inches to what I like, after I get up, the chair raises back up. This causes me to adjust the height each time I sit. Is this normal for the gas cylinder? Or is it supposed to stay at the level I set it at.

Thank you,

Mine seems to stay where I originally set it. The lowest possible height. Do you share your chair with someone who changes it constantly?

Otherwise call the 800#........................

Answer:
It should stay at the height level you have it set at. I've not had any problems with mine moving. I would contact Realspace about the problem. It sounds to me like the gas cylinder on your chair may be defective.

Answer:
It should stay at the adjusted level.Check to make sure height adjusting lever is in neutral position. If it is and it still raises it has a faulty valve.

Answer:
No, it is not normal. Once you set the height, it should remain at that setting.
