Staedtler? Pigment Liner Sketch Pens, Microtip Point, Black Barrel, Black Ink, Pack Of 4 5 5 1 1
The PERFECT drawing pen. No brand comes close. This is the BEST pen I have ever used for marking on paper graphs. There is not a brand that equals it -- or even comes close ! It writes CLEARLY, cleanly, permanently. No smudging after only a second. The ink doesn't "spread". It doesn't even smear if you decide to highlight over it later ! The ink doesn't fade: the red is always red; the green is really green; the black is actually black. I will admit that the blue does seem to dry out / run out faster than the other colors. Personally, I almost always use the # 03 tip. Sometimes I have use for the #01 in black -- you won't believe how small you can write with this one and still have it be perfectly legible ! Sometimes I use the # 05, but it depends entirely on your material, your project, your preference. It appears that this this company has been merged with or bought out by another. I see they now produce similar but less professional versions of this pen in a rainbow of colors -- no doubt to sell on the lucrative "craft" market. Don't be fooled. Get the permanent PIGMENT LINER if you are doing professional work and take care with the quality of your work. December 13, 2014
