I ruined a new pair of pants because the refill leaked very bad. The refill did not fit my expense pen properly. I purchased the PARKER QUINK GEL before with no problem. Frank

Rated 1 out of 5by JustSomeGuy DO NOT BUY THESE REFILLS
I like Gel pens. The ones I have used roll smoothly across the paper and leave a nice thick trail of "Gel" ink. These refills which are labeled "Gel" do not seem to be Gel at all. The ink is dark black which is fine, but the ink is very thin, and the refill does not write very smoothly. It skips and feels as though the ball is almost scratching across the paper. I paid $6+/- for a package of two refills to install into a nice heavy twist pen with a super-comfortable foam grip that I have had a very long time. It is a nice heavy pen which is almost impossible to find any longer, most new pens even Parker and Cross pens are as light weight as disposable pens. What a waste of $6. What a waste of my time seeking out a refill that will fit my pen. I have a small selection of cheap-o plastic gel pens that range from $1 each (pkg of 12 for $12) up to about $3. These pens write far better and so much more smoothly than these refills. DO NOT BUY THESE REFILLS. Just try out the cheap gel pens and when you find one you like buy those instead. Attached (I hope) is a small doodle sample showing how it skips. Just another 2-cents worth...
