love it After reading other reviews, I was hesitant to buy this cabinet. Now I'm definitely glad I went with my instincts. Bought it in gray which is very nice for our home rather than the traditional beige or black. The cabinet is sturdy, was not dented and the drawers pull all the way out to reach files in the very back. The drawers glide effortlessly and there is plenty of room left to add more files as necessary, plus each drawer has its own divider rod to hold files secure if you don't fill up a drawer. It is beyond my expectations and I am extremely happy with it. It is sturdy for office professionals as well as home offices. All 4 drawers lock for security. I highly recommend this Realspace Pro filing cabinet. January 12, 2013

Filing Cabinet This cabinet was good quality, but received dented in several places on the back side. I needed it right now so I didn't return it. When you pay over $200 for something you don't expect it to be received damaged. October 17, 2012

Hopefully adequate for long-term storage Flimsy filing cabinet, bent and twisted on arrival (the packaging is even flimsier). A little work with a hammer and a wood block got it working, thank goodness. I think this will be OK for the long-term storage I need it for, but I will be very reluctant to try to move it without emptying the drawers. Which reminds me: I do not see how to remove the drawers, another decided drawback. March 16, 2012

Save your money.... cheap, flimsy and all bent to trash on delivery.... I would not pay half the price for this drawer unit.. It does not qualify as a home cabinet IMHO... January 5, 2012

Yes, all four drawers lock. However, they all lock or none do; you cannot have one or two unlocked with the others locked.

This cabinet does not come with a lock. So no drawers lock.

There is a lock kit you can buy and install.
It locks all four drawers / the whole cabinet.
The item for this lock kit is: 212950.

Yes, the drawers are removable. There are plastic finger levers in the slides on both sides; lift one up, push the other down, and the drawer will pull right out.

After playing with the drawer, I figured it out . the bar under the drawer prevents the drawer from coming out all the way by two indentions. lower the bar and the drawer comes out.
