Deflect-O? Execumat Heavy-Duty Vinyl Chairmat For High-Pile Carpets, Rectangular, 46W x 60D, Translucent
Has a mind of its own
I have only had this chair mat 2 weeks and can tell it is a very heavy duty mat. I am 247 lbs. and the carpet it sits on is a tight plush 3/4" nap. No dents or cupping where the wheels sit. It moves on the carpet easily and I think I will try some clear double faced tape to hold it in it's place. Highly recommend

Update to Previous review from 12/27/2010
It is very easy to say good things about a product when it is brand new, per my review below. It seems very few people follow-up at a later time with "real world" updates. I just wanted to give some feedback at almost 4 years of continuous use of the Chairmat which I bought and reviewed at that time.
It still looks like it i brand new! Absolutely no signs of wear. IF it were to break, crack, etc. I would order another one of these without giving a second thought about it . If you are looking for an office accessory that can potentially outlive your office set-up, this is the chairmat you need.
Pros: solid construction, nice textured finish, quick delivery
Cons: pricey for a chairmat but worth it.
I spent a great deal of time looking online as well as checking all the local office supply stores for a quality chairmat for my home office. I found this one online. It was not carried by any "brick and mortar" store in the my area, so I ordered it based on the other reviews I saw for it on Officedepot.com. I have to admit I would have been much more comfortable buying it in person. Once I ordered it, it was delivered the next business day. Although I have only had it for a few weeks, I am not disappointed at all with the chairmat. It seems as though it would hold up for a lifetime! We have very plush carpeting in my home office and the chair creates no dimples at all in the mat. Past mats I have had were always "dimpling" making it hard to roll the chair. I would strongly recommend this chairmat to anyone.

This is a very good product. Mine was shipped in cold weather and was somewhat bent/warped upon arrival. But I've laid it down on a deep pile carpet and used it--it's gradually flattening out and will do better when the wether warms. [Pick it up in the store if you can since the item cannot by folded for freight shipping and shipping cost is high.] It's sturdy, certainly not unattractive, and my chair now rolls to/from my desk as it should.

Needed Carpet protection
I have a small office area in my living room; I had a "STANDARD" chairmat, but it scooted allover the place, and really ... it tore up the carpet. I was disgusted with it - but you get what you pay for, it was the cheapest I could find. I looked ... and I read reviews. Now granted this WAS more than I had planned to pay - but already it's proven it's worth. It's not budged one inch (I have a BIG office chair on wheels ... and I am, always scooting from the computer to the printer, over to my files, etc.). The other one was so cracked it was dangerous to my feet (usually bare when I work at home). Do I recommend this yes ... was it worth the price yes.
