802.11b/g wireless networkability for all to share. Multiple computers can be connected to this machine for full-color printing, even wirelessly! Integrated technology can receive print/fax requests, and it queues up based on when the job was sent to the machine — on a first-come, first-served/second-come, second-served basis. Also offers USB 2.0 and Ethernet ports for wired connections.
Speedy print capabilities — up to 21 ppm in black or color! With 21 ppm (pages per minute) speeds in black and white or color, you'll spend less time waiting so productivity will remain high. Get the job done right, and get it done fast!
Save time and money with automatic 2-sided printouts. The MFC-9840CDW can print on both sides of the page automatically — preferable for the environment and your wallet. Save on paper costs! Produce professional-looking, double-sided printouts for your next presentation.
High-quality results with max 2400 x 600 dpi. Enjoy sharp black text and vibrant colors with resolutions up to 2400 x 600 dpi color (600 x 600 dpi black). Your scanned documents, graphics and photos will show up as detailed as your originals with an interpolated resolution of up to 19,200 dpi.
Make copies in color or black and white at up to 17 cpm. The MFC-9840CDW will also collate your copies and reduce/enlarge your output from 25% to 400% so you can customize your work.
Fax as fast as 3 seconds per page with the 33.6Kbps fax modem. The MFC-9840CDW stores up to 500 pages in its fax memory so you can receive all incoming transmissions, even if you run out of paper or ink. Speed up your faxing tasks with a speed dial code capacity of 300 numbers (40 of which are 1-touch), broadcasting, delay send, auto redial and more. You can also send and receive faxes from your PC for more privacy.
Scan bulky items on the 8 1/2" x 14" flatbed platen. Turn pages from a book or other bulky items into crisp, clean, colorful digital files on the legal-sized platen!
Print directly from a USB flash drive! The front-panel USB Direct Interface lets you print PDF or JPEG files directly from your USB flash drive, or scan files directly to the drive. You can also connect a PictBridge compatible camera or phone (sold separately) for speedy photo printing without a computer!
Flexible 300-sheet paper tray capacity. The large 250-sheet paper primary tray accepts 8 1/2" x 11" or 8 1/2" x 14" paper and handles big jobs without having to stop and refill. The 50-sheet multipurpose tray is great for envelopes, cards and other types of media, while the 50-sheet Auto Document Feeder allows drop-and-go convenience.
