I bought this desk to replace a similar L shaped desk. The old one worked perfectly for me, but alas it did not survive a move.
Several pieces of this desk came damaged in the packaging. I went ahead and assembled it anyway because I needed a desk. That was a serious mistake. As soon as I saw the first bit of damage I should have boxed it back up and returned it. Several of the pieces were damaged, including one of the desk surface pieces which shows some very conspicuous damage.
A few of the pieces also didn't have the holes properly drilled in. Others had very cleanly drilled holes. The quality from piece to piece varied wildly.
The keyboard tray is much too narrow, and I can't fit my keyboard and mouse on it without the keyboard hanging over the edge. That isn't actually that bad if you never push the keyboard tray in, but that's just silly. The really sad thing is there's some wasted space around the keyboard tray so it's obvious they could have fit a wider keyboard tray on there if the designer had had any brains about how a desk might actually be used.
The space for my computer is too shallow and it won't fit all the way in there, so it's impossible to close the door. I don't have a monster computer case, it's just medium sized. Again, this is another failure that could have been easily addressed in the design, since there is a bunch of wasted space in the back where the surface hangs over.
The only good news is the desk was easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and the hardware was packaged in individual packets that are labeled with Step 1, Step 2, etc. so you only have the hardware out that's for the step you're working on.
Overall, this is a very shoddy desk, which is good only for show in the furniture area of Office Depot.

I have had several desks made out of processed wood in the past. This one is by far the best. While it took some time to put it together, the instructions were done correctly and the assembly holes were exactly where they should be. The only Con that I would comment on is that some pieces came with light scuffs or scratches. Nearly all of them came off with some elbow grease, but I don't think that they are packaged with anything other than cost in mind. It looks great in my office. Very happy with it. Buy it when it rotates on sale for the best deal...

Love the desk, was exactly what we needed and was on sale to boot. Instructions were on the mark if you work well with diagrams. We bought the hutch too and everything line up perfectly. Very good quality

We got 2 of them for my 2 boys. The building process was a good family experience as they have always liked legos :) . Now that they are fully built they go well with the wooden furniture we have but not as expensive. My teenage boys really like them for their homework and video games. The L shape is very convenient (lots of space!) and the high is perfect for a normal office like chair. I'm thinking in buying one for my home office, they look and feel very nice for work on the computer, I use a laptop only and wouldn't put the keyboard holder to have more space for my long legs...it doesn't bother my oldest son though, who is 14 and taller than me already ( 5'9").
