exactly what I needed
This is the size and shape I needed. Can always count on Office Depot to have what I need, when I need it. Delievery is awesome for this too busy business owner.

Wrong Specifications
The floor mat was not as listed on the site. The site lists 1/3" thickness, and it was only 1/10" thick. The whole reason for purchasing this item was to have a sufficient thickness to prevent indents from the chair wheels; it was not the case. The 1/10" is very thin and dents easily. Office Depot really needs to update their site with correct specs for their items.

Better than my old mat
When I bought my office chair a year or so ago, I bought a standard office mat. However, having recently updated my home office with a new desk, I wanted a larger mat because the one I had was about 3x4 feet with a lip on it and that didn't give me much wiggle room.
My old mat got indentations in it, which I actually could live with, but the size was simply too small. Plus, I wanted a mat without a lip on it.
This mat is rated for all carpet heights. My carpet is a 3/4 inch thick wool area carpet of with a thin waffle no-slip pad under it.
This mat is definitely thicker and stiffer than my old mat, no doubt about it. I do get some chair indentations, however be aware that my big and tall office chair weighs at least 70 pounds, plus there's about 200+ pounds of me sitting in it. So I'm not surprised there's some denting. That being said, it's a pretty token amount of dent, and nothing that will make me struggle.
The mat arrived at my home rolled up loosely and wrapped in cardboard. It's heavy but not too heavy, I was able to carry it to my office without having to drag it.
Then came the fun part: getting it out of the cardboard and unrolled. I felt like I was fighting an alligator, this baby is some stiff mat. It still had the curvatures in it from being rolled up, and it did NOT want to unroll....after about 15 minutes of wrangling with the roley-poley mat, I did get it out flat with two major humps in it. I sat my office chair on it, on top of the humps, and it straightened out some by nightfall. The next morning it was almost flat, so I moved it into position and now it seems pretty flat.
It grabs the carpet pretty tight, I don't think it's going to move around much. I can now move my chair around without coming off the mat, which was my goal.

Not worthy of Top-of-the-Line rating
This was the recommended chair mat at Office Depot. I have a heavy, big and tall, Realspace Pro 1200 chair which weighs close to 80 pounds. I weigh 190 and, like the Oregon reviewer, the chair immediately left indentations in the mat. And Office Depot will not take it back because I had to make a cut in it to fit to my desk.
