I wanted brown paper, not beige, to contrast with yellow paper. I use these papers as labels for products in process. Operators pick the products based on color. Originally, we used beige and yellow papers, but these colors are too close to each other on the color spectrum and operators would mistakenly pick the wrong product when under pressure. As a result, I looked for a tone of brown paper that would easily contrast with yellow, but also allow easy display of black magic marker writing. This paper fits the bill.

My only complaint is the colored paper is more expensive than white, but even for the money, colored paper is worth it. I used this salmon colored paper to make flyers and they stand out from all the other white paper information that competes for peoples attention.
