Caller ID lets you screen your calls!
  • Call Waiting/Caller ID† capability.  Caller ID stores up to 99 names and numbers in its memory, so you can easily go back to research who called and when. 4-line LCD is backlit for easy viewing. Visual message waiting indicator lets you know at a glance if someone called while you were out. †Call Waiting/Caller ID service required from your local telephone company.
  • Expandable up to a total of 16 stations.  Add up to 15 more phone stations as your business grows. Each additional corded unit (sold separately) requires its own phone jack and AC power outlet. You can also add 1 cordless handset (Model H5401RE1, sold separately) to each station. No phone jacks are required for additional cordless handsets — just an AC power outlet!
  • Speakerphone allows hands-free dialogue.  No need to pick up the handset! Just use the dial-in speakerphone base to make your calls. If you decide to pick up the handset during the call, speakerphone is automatically turned off and the call is transferred to the handset.
  • 16-number speed dial for 1-touch calling.  Don't waste time dialing the whole number! Easily assign up to 16 of your most frequently called numbers to convenient speed-dial buttons — so you can get down to business quickly and easily.
  • 3-way conferencing makes it easy to collaborate.  You can easily add 2 outside callers to your conversation for a 3-way discussion — great for answering a lot of questions in 1 call!
  • 4-line system is ideal for growing businesses.  Manage multiple activities? Let a unique ring tell you which area of your business the caller wants. Each of the system's 4 lines has a distinctive ring and a line-in-use indicator. This allows you to dedicate lines to different areas of your business — for small office convenience and big office potential!
  • Connect communication devices to phone via data port.  The data port located on the phone can be used as an auxiliary jack for a fax, modem, answering machine — or even a cordless phone! Line selector switch assigns 1 of the 4 phone lines to the externally connected device.
  • Backed by the manufacturer's 2-year limited warranty.

Lasts barely a year I work out of my home. I do not have a high volume of phone calls. Yet, this is the second one of these that I've bought in 2 years. The first one lasted about a year when the handset quit working properly. (Pick up the phone and you can barely hear the person. Then the volume kicks in and you can hear them. It goes from low to high to low continuously while on the handset.) I too, had an issue with the "hang up" and the lines still showing as being "in use". Well I really liked the phone, so I thought, what the heck, buy another, thinking it was just THAT phone. After all, it couldn't possibly happen exactly the same way again, could it? Oh yes it could! Barely a year into the new one and the same thing is happening. Now I have to buy yet another phone. This time, unfortunately, it won't be THIS model, or brand for that matter. July 10, 2014
Good phone - incompatibility Bought one with plan to eventually replace 5 phones in my office. Found out from phone repair guy that these are incompatible with my old (different name brand) phones. Have no problem with using the lines, but old phones do not ring. I am upgrading the rest to these. Phone tech says they will work fine when all the same brand. March 16, 2014
Quality Control Missing We purchased 4 phones and had to exchange several of them. The hang up switch did not work (the switch that is pushed down when the handset is set in its cradle). My opinion is that quality control was not executed properly and those phones were packed and released to the customer. After having the phones (the ones that due work or replaced) they have been good. We have the 4 line system and they have been working properly. At this price range I did not expect to have to go back and forth until we found phones that did work. RCA needs better quality control. March 15, 2014
not for me I bought this phone the first unit turned out to be broken which they exchanged. after connecting the new one and testing I am going to return it as its hard to use the buttons are small and if the other lines are ringing just the light flashes and no ringer for others to know about it with out be alerted.
