The design for the end mouldings is terrible and the material poorly made. The mouldings themselves split immediately during assembly. I've put together a number of bookcases and desk over the years, and this was by far the worst. Look for something else.

The picture and dimensions were great. The materials were horrible. It is made entirely of particle board which crumbled as I tried to screw or assemble the parts. The holes for the connectors disintegrated when joining two sections and the connectors themselves fell apart. When I tried to slide the edging onto the front of the cabinet, the pieces literally split. Finally, the veneer was so thin that it peeled away when the screws were inserted. The name on the box was Sauder. Through the years I have assembled many Sauder bookcases, and never had any problem. This was a disaster. Office Depot kindly took it back, but I am through with Sauder.

Not difficult to assemble but must be careful or damage will occur. When I screwed in the top moulding, the screw came through the top of the bookcase. I have put together many items and have never had this happen. Side moulding assembly is to just slide on but one of them cracked and now it is very unstable. I intend to contact the manufacturer for replacement parts but I am not looking forward to disassembling the case to replace them. Looks nice and somewhat stylish.
