Rated 5 out of 5by MommyHardy Great for young kids just learning to wright
The pencil is big enough for smaller children (my daughter is 3 years old) to hold and it helps them to place their fingers in the correct position. They are the perfect length for pencil boxes and come pre-sharpened which is very nice.

Rated 5 out of 5by booknator 4th graders love them!
I am a 4th grade teacher. Since handwriting and fine motor skills are barely taught in school anymore, my students have a hard time writing. I bought these pencils and they absolutely love. It is worth spending my own money to see the quality of work improve. Plus their hands no longer hurt.

Rated 5 out of 5by Samantha Thank you
My grandson is in kindergarten. These pencils were on his school list. They are soooooo hard to find in the stores. I had to call the company to see how to get them. They told me Office Depot, they were not in the store but was online. They sell them in a box of 12. SWEET

Rated 5 out of 5by Volunteer Coordinator for an elementary school My First Ticonderoga Pencil
It is well known that Ticonderoga pencils are the best pencils money can buy. Oh, yes, there are cheaper pencils, but most of these have wood pulp casings which are quickly eaten up by a pencil sharpener. One quickly realizes that these cheaper pencils are no bargain. Moreover, one of the best kept secrets is that these "First Ticonderoga Pencils" are the very best primary pencils, which four- to six-year old children should be using as they begin to use pencils for writing and drawing. Unfortunately, these primary level pencils often are not stocked in stores. However, they are available from the Office Depot catalog at no extra cost.
