Evan-Moor U.S. Facts & Fun, Grades 4-6 1 5 1 1
This review applies to the BOOK. The content is great! Evan-Moore has some great social studies products. HERE'S MY GRIPE: Most of the material uses four pages, but instead of using the front and back of two pages, this book uses the back of of one, front & back of the second, and then the front of another. This is a extremely inconvenient because every time I want to use it, I have to go pull out extra pages and photocopy them to fit onto two. I have two children to homeschool and I would MUCH rather just buy a book for each of them and tear out the pages we want to use as we need them. It's cheaper to buy a second book than to use my paper/ink/time to reproduce it. The formatting doesn't permit me to just tear out the pages we want without getting the last page of the prior lesson and first page of the following lesson. GRRRR! I only bought the book because it was heavily discounted at a store going out of business. I will not be buying more of their books. Only E-books for me from now on. Since I'm going to have to use my paper/ink anyway, I might as well have it in a format that is easy to use. January 30, 2012
