Rated 3.9 out of 5by 133 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5by Very Satisfied, 1st Brother product My wife and I were looking for a new printer, specifically color laser printer for our home office. We were replacing an ink jet printer, that was costing us a fortune in ink cartridges. This is the first Brother product that we have owned. We love this machine. First, much to my surprise it is very easy to install. The instruction manual does a good job of walking you through the necessary steps and within minutes had it communicating with our WIFI network and computers. We like the power saving feature when not in use, as we don't print every day. We have not used all of the features yet (scan or fax), but for wifi printing and copying it does a great job. I bought this printer after many hours of product reviews and am very pleased with the results! February 19, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5by Terrible Experience I had my printer for just a few weeks and the roller became damaged. They sent me a refurbished printer (which I think is bad business) I had that for around 9 months or so and the roller went bad. When I called them they asked if I knew when I purchased my original unit, I did not know because I thought the warranty would start again with the refurbished unit. That is not the case. I was put on hold for a while and the person came back and said my unit was no longer in warranty. When I checked my records I still had 1 1/2 months left on my warranty. I called back and of course received an apology saying the other person did not do their job properly. I do not believe that. I am sure the first person spoke to a manager and they were told to not send me another unit because I did not know the date. I will never purchase a Brother product again! Very disappointed. Rated 1 out of 5by Not for high volume printing I've used an HP Officejet Pro for nearly 5 years without any trouble. I bought this Brother hoping the print time would be reduced and we would save money using toner instead of ink. WRONG. This printer was factory set to use all colors to print BLACK. In our first 2 weeks we had to replace all of the toner drums. Then 3 weeks later...again! Finally we found this setting and changed it. When pages print the heat from the printer curls the paper. After only 4 months the Drum needs to be replaced...for over $200. This printer is a money pit. If you print one or two pages a day it'll probably be good, but for a real office printer LOOK ELSEWHERE. February 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Very Good Printer This is a very good printer and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a color laser printer that will print on both sides of the paper February 15, 2015
