uni-ball? 207? Retractable Fraud Prevention Gel Pen, Medium Point, 0.7 mm, Translucent Black Barrel, Purple Ink 5 5 1 1
Purple Ink Good Security Step? Guess using an oddball color can have good security points. If your bank knows all your checks have a custom color ink only used on your checks seeing a check in black or blue ink might well be a red flag that the check may have been chemically washed. Also Sanford claims the ink itself creates a deeper bond into the paper itself making it much more difficult to chemically remove / wash. I would also recommend to Sanford to make it glow in a custom wavelength known only to them then exposed to other than visible light. Perhaps this feature might prove usefull if a check was indeed washed to the point you couldn't tell. The visable writing might say $50,000 but under a blacklight etc... it shows only $50.00.
