Much better than other brands
People who purchase a super bright LED flashlight should not devalue the battery based on these energy sucking flashlights. The Energizer Lithium 123 is the best battery I have found for my High Performance LED Flashlight. I use mine for work, I use it a lot, but I use the lower lumen setting whenever possible, extends the battery life and the high lumens are there when I need it.

Great product but with limitations
I have three ultra-bright LED flashlights that use these expensive batteries. They do the job but don't last long. I understand why people are upset with the cost/lifetime ratio, but if you want super bright LED these are the battery type you will have to use. Don't buy a flashlight that requires these batteries if you need something to walk the dog, for example. Get something rather dim but lasts. I use them for investigations and need the brightness. I turn it on, look at what I want and turn it off.

Energizer 123 3 volt batteries provided with a Frongate LED flashlight - 4 of them. Great flashlight but batteries don't last very long. Also hard to locate replacements locally.
