It works but takes a while to put together
I would hope that the price would reflect a savings by assembling it yourself. However, it doesn't. It is well built despite no actual hardwood used. It's all sawdust and glue. It took me about 1.5 hours to assemble. nothing too hard, just cumbersome. Having a screwdriver (they require phillips, I would have preferred a flathead on the drawer pull screws) and pliers/wrench are necessary. The hammer I didn't need.
Move it in to place before you install the drawers as it gets heavy with the drawers in. The finish is nice and closely matches my other office furniture. But note that only the top drawer locks. And the files must be put in parallel to the front face, not perpendicular (it looks like it's possible but the cross rods, if moved, would not have any center support and would likely bend under the weight of multiple files). It's more a preference thing to me.

Heavy duty and made very well. Easy to put together.

1. Imprecisely drilled pilot holes
2. Plastic supports for the drawer sides cracked upon insertion. Pilot pins on those supports as well failed.
3. Instructions leave one to guess which way a finished side should face.
4. SCREWS, yes screws instead of nails for attaching the fiberboard backing to the rear of the cabinet.
5. Improper alignment of drawer rails despite my mybest efforts.
6. Over 3 hours devoted to just partial assembly. (See #2)
7. Flimsy drawer bottoms of thin fiber board

Good value for the money
We didn't want to spend a lot of money, but we wanted a file cabinet that looked nice and met out filing needs.
From what I researched, this turned out to be the biggest bang for the buck.
Assembly was a little challenging but there was also a toll-free number offered in instructions for assistance. Extra screws/nails were furnished which was nice (just in case one was lost or damaged during our assembly process).
